I was banded in May 2008 and had no problems at all everything went fine and still is.I have lost 88 pounds to date.Good luck.

Hey I only eat three meals a day no snacking for me is the key.Dont think of yourself as a failure you have lost 15 pounds,I hope it gets better -

Hey again, I feel full and if I were to try and eat anymore I would get sick.You really will only be able to eat a half a cup of food if that.But that is what I wanted tired of living to eat, now I eat to Live. I love my Band. -

I went to krystals and was only able to eat a half of one krystal and 3 fries and I was full if I eat at taco bell I can only eat half of a taco. You will be full and unable to eat anymore had my surgery in May 08 and have lost 80 pounds and have had 6 fills.Good luck on your journey -
My surgery was on May 12th 2008 and I have lost 77 poundsand I feel soooo much better good luck on your journey

I took a week of vacation and have a very physical job if I ever had to do it again I would have taken 2 weeks.I was back to feeling normal after about 9 days.good luck and congratulations

You will get hungry and have little restriction.I did not feel real good restriction until my 4th fill.I did eat alot less but could eat anything until my 3rd fill,then you start having problems with certain foods.Good luck and it will get better I am 8 months ot and have lost 76 pounds so hang in there. -

I was banded on May 12,08 and finally reached my sweet spot on the 6th fill I have lost 75 and a half pounds so far.I would do this again in a heartbeat. -
No, it did not hurt me and my doc. does not numb area either.

Hey somtimes your body has to catch up to the weight loss.I was banded in May 08 and I typically lose for 2 weeks then stop for 1 or 2 before I start losing again.Hang in there you will lose, just maybe not as fast as you want good luck.

I had it when I had my surgery it was real quick when I had all my paperwork only 2 weeks once we faxed everything.They do require 6 month supervised diet and exercise and nutrsionist.Good luck I would do it again in a heart beat. -
It also took me 4 fills to get the restiction I wanted.Just keep telling yourself you are worth it.You are doing good dont beat yourself up we all fall off the wagon at least once if not more

Just wondering how many of you were banded by Groves and Britt in Alabama and how are you doing I was banded on May,12 2008 and have lost 59 pounds and have had 5 fills this last one was the charm.:cursing:
