I am a redhead too... I was reading your post about feeling like you were eating to much and I had to tell youI am feeling the same way. Today I had 2 pieces of thin crust pizza before I realized what i had done. Talking and such.... I worry about stretching it too. My first fill is Jan 8th and I had my surgery on the 3rd of Dec.

Its funny... My doctor didn't really push the whole soft diet mushy food thing except for the first week after surgery. When I went to my one week check and asked him what i could do next, he said to me-just no shrimp or steak. Try things slowly but go to a regular diet. I about fell out of the chair but I did it and tolerated everything well. Still scare of bread but that will come. I am now patiently waiting for my first adjustment on the 8th of Jan, because sometimes I feel like I am eating to much even though i have cut way back. :tounge_smile: -
Tomorrow is my dietician apt. I am scared as I begin this adventure but also elated to finally have made this giant step! :tongue2:

By any chance would this be Laurinda that works at Seton pharm? If so- Hey its Jennifer (Ramey) and if not-Hi new friend. I am having my apt with the dietician at Dr. Chappano's office tomorrow and was just surfing the web on lap bands for others in the Jax/OP area.
