I'm about 6 yrs post-op for lap band....pretty much had same problem from day one....have no fill in my port, trouble with food getting stuck, even drinking sometimes can be difficult....I am having my band removed in appx. 2 weeks....Dr. says they sometimes kink and thats probably what is happening....
