60 pounds is soooooo awesome!!!!!! I'm so proud of you. I'm ok, i have had a lot of outside stressors going on here lately, and of course, it makes me want to eat comfort foods and all the wrong foods. It's a long story that i will save for another day... Hey girl....looking great in your pic. I have been doing good. I am one pound away from a 60lb loss. Its a great feeling, but I know I would look so much better if I could just get in more exercise. Its the hardest thing for me to do. I get so mad at myself.

I loved the idea of the band for that reason....its adjustable and removable. Also my parts stay in the same place and I feel really good about that...LOL!! Let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I will be as honest as I can for my personal experiance. Good luck making the decision...keep me updated, K!

thanks for ur reply! i was thinking about the band and then my attention turned more towards the vertical sleeve procedure but being that it is not reversible, i am not so sure that i want it...i am again thinking about the band and just getting all the info i can on it right now...

Hey Chickie....No problem....I totally understand how life/time gets away from you. I am so glad you are back feeling better. I am happy I can finally eat a little more. Of course I am still pretty tight, but I can so live with it. I LOVE MY DR...lol!!!

Thanks so much. Its hard to see it sometimes, but I feel it in my clothes for sure. I have lost a total of 48ish pounds in 5months. I feel like I should be further along but I am happy to be at least losing. I do NOT regret the band at all. I did underestimate how much work is still required though. This is just a different kind of hard....ya know what I mean. Are you getting the band too? Did you get it already?

Hey girl!!! Sorry i haven't been in touch with you sooner. i work night shift and have been working. I went to the doc thursday before coming to work. I got an unfill!!! He took out 1cc. Ahhh, life is good again. I can eat now without feeling like i'm going to die. I can eat and i am getting full quicker PERFECT I have a 9cc band, he put 3.5cc in during surgery (did not know this until last week), he put 2cc in last week, then took out 1cc thurs. Everything is wonderful again. So glad we are feeling better Well, i hope you have a good weekend. Keep me updated on you:) Talk to you soon Julie

Hey Shannon!!! I am so glad you are feeling better!!! Woo hoo!! I leave in an hour to go to my appointment for my unfill. I hope that's all i need too. I have been so miserable the past week and had no problems before my first fill. i will definately let you know. I go to work tonight so i may not be back on the computer until tomorrow.

And i'm the same way.... i don't like body pictures. i have taken a couple since surgery to mark my progress, but i don't even have a complete body photo of myself before surgery because i was so embarrassed.

But you look great and one day, we will not be so afraid of full body pics
