Today like all other days for the last two weeks: BB - Vitamin & 1 Tablespoon Flaxseed Oil B - Myocel with Skim Milk and Orange Crystle Light Package L - Myocel with Skim Milk and Orange Crystal Light Package S - Light Apple juice or Lite Cranberry Juice D - Myocel with Skim Milk and Orange Crystal Light Package Water doesn't agree with me right now, so I drink Crystal Light.

If it will make you feel better, how about instead of buying the cookies we give the cash we would have spent on the cookies to a Girl Scout Troop. I did this last year. The Troop then gets 100% of the profit instead of pennies per box. We then don't have the guilt of eating the things. A win win situation!

My insurance UHC will only pay for BMI under 40 if you have at least 2 co-morbidities. sleep Apnea should qualify as one. (Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Arthritis, etc.) High Cholestrol doesn't count. I had to pay for mine because I only had one. Good Luck!

Ok, 2 weeks post op and I am tired of the PFs (productive farts). Is this something I am going to have forever?:angry

My first three days on the Pre-op diet were hard. Of course, that could be because my body was trying to detox from the Girl Scout Cookies. Sugar is a DRUG!!!

Ok, I have a confession to make about the Girl Scout Cookies. I bought a case of Samoas (Carmel Delights) before my surgery. I starting eating 1/2 box a night and ended up eating a whole box a night. I got my surgery date and had to immediately go on the Post Op Diet. Oh no, I still have one more box of cookies to eat. I didn't eat them and I just today noticed that they are gone from my pantry. I hear by do solemnly swear to abide by the #1 Law of the "Gone for Good Club' and never ever buy or consume another Girl Scout Cookie for the rest of my life! Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels!

Yellow Rose, getting the band won't be easy without your husband's support. Have you taken him to one of the seminars? The seminar was very helpful to me. I went with my friend because she was thinking about getting the band. Afterwards, I showed my husband the information and asked him what he thought about me having it. He said He thought it was a great idea and that he supported me 100%... Good thing since I had to pay $15,0000 for mine.

I am on Myocel from my doctor. It tastes good with milk and a on the go orange crystal lite package. This morning I tried a Adkins chocolate shake in a can. Not great, but easy. Myocel is $45 for 30 servings.

My 22 daughter is waiting on insurance to be banded in May or June when she is out of school. My best friend is being banded April 4th. We all live in The Woodlands, Texas. My chubby days started with two major changes in my life at age nine...grandmother dying and major move. I was deeply depressed for two years and ate my way into a chubby preteen. Yoyo diets for years and health problems added to my problems. I had given up and decided never to diet again, then My best friend's doctor advised her to get the Lap band surgery. She doesn't like to do anything by herself, so I went to the seminar and doctor with her. I saw hope for myself and my daughter. 3/14/2006 I was banded. Creamed soup is sounding real good to me. Today is the first day I have had hunger pains growling from my tummy. I am a bit scared of trying anything because of my applesauce incident on Saturday. (Dry Heaves)

Poodles, I am 8 days post op today. This is the first day I really drove myself and felt like I could make it all day if I had to go to work. I had no problems until day 4. First day without nausea patch. I had pushed liquids too fast and had applesauce. The pain in my stomache was very bad followed by dry heaves. Dr. called in suppositories and told me to go back to Clear Liquids. Followed orders and was better next day. Sip pourable liquids only is the key.
