Are you ready for your life to change? I know this can be a little scary. My whole life has been centered around food. My every emotion has made me want to run to food for comfort. My unhealthy eating not only made me fat, but made my children fatter. Do I want this self distructive cycle to change forever? YES! Will I have to make sacrifices? YES! Can I do it? YES THANKS TO MY BAND! For the first time in my life I feel like I have some control over my appetite. I have not felt one urge to eat a cheeseburger, fries, sweets, chips, or anything else loaded with fat and calories. I know it is time to eat, because I feel a little growl in my tummy. I then give it something healthy and it stops. I don't find myself standing in the refrigerator or pantry anymore looking for what salty or sweet thing is calling my name. I can live without Diet Coke! The last 5 times I have been in a Fast Food Restaurant was only to use the bathroom because I am drinking so much water I can't make it all the way home. I can pack my own meal and take it with me when invited to holiday meal at a friends house. I can finally eat to live and not live to eat. Freedom from addiction is a wonderful feeling!

It is what people enjoy doing again when they get to their goal weight!

I hate it when my husband and I are watching TV and he starts yelling at the people on TV. I really hate it when he does it at the movies!

Don't let that LIAR steal your JOY! Oh, he likes to tell us we could control our weight problems, and then turns around and makes those Girl Scout Cookies call our name! Pray to God that this will be the answer to your prayers, hold your head up, and give glory to him. That old guilt will go away... I guarantee it!

My husband made me go to Huntsville this evening to look at a Pontiac Solstice convertible. I it is a great looking car, but no side airbags, no roll bar, manual top down, no trunk at all, no navigation system and no heated seats, They wouldn't even let us test drive it. Seems they are very hard to come by and they go for $2,000 over MSRP. I am still voting for the BMW Z4. That car is smoking hot!

The Mini Cooper S is a race car in Europe! I have never had any problem getting on the Highway in my Mini. Floor it and that baby goes! I can keep up with the traffic in Houston with no problem. Of course that is on good paved roads. She doesn't like speed bumps. Those Mole Hills are Mountains to her! "Your never settle on a Mini! You buy it by choice or not at all!"

Angelu, My husband is convertible shopping. So far he likes the Lexus hard top convertible and the BMW Z4. He still has more he wants to look at before deciding. What do you recommend 4 seat or 2 seat?

Good thing about cats is they don't let a snake get pass them! I have come to tolerate my cats bringing small snakes in the house to play with. I just keep an eye on them until they are finished with them or before my DH gets home, then toss them back outside. Of course, they have never brought in a poisonous snake. It could happen though. DH is scared to death of snakes! He inherited this from his mom. DD is so scared of spiders she hyperventilates and breaks out in hives. What a nusaince this is to me! I have moved furniture, taken everything out of her car, and stood on my head several times to get spiders out of her room and car.

Teresita, My Mini cooper is 1.6 liter over head cam, 16-valve inline 4-cyl. engine (115 hp) The Mini Cooper S comes with a Supercharged, intercooled 1.6 liter overhead cam, 16-valve inline 4-cylinder engine (163 hp) When I ordered my Mini you could only get Automatic Transmission on the Mini Cooper. I don't do manual transmission.

We stopped yesterday to get gas for my husband's Lincoln Navigator. I wasn't paying attention, but when he got in he said "that wasn't bad only $40." I said "Well you must have already had half a tank before you filled up." He said "Yes I did!" He can't pull a fast one over me very often. I know his tank is twice as big as my Mini!

Teresita, Have you ever sat in a Mini Cooper? I bet you would fit just fine. I have had my Baby Mini almost 2 years now. A friend of a friend weighs way more then you do and is tall. I lowered my seat down and back all the way and told him to get in and close the door. He looked at me funny, then got in and closed the door. He said he never would have believed how much room there is inside. It is a small car that feels big on the inside! I keep my backseats down all the time and bought special mats to go over carpeted backs to give me a large cargo area. I have been able to get almost anything back there. Bad News - Dinner got stuck big time! PBed my dinner completely out! I am done for the day. No snack for me.

Some people are on clear liquids for first two weeks. I could have Protein shakes first two weeks...no problem for me.
