Life sure does get in the way of our plans sometimes. Welcome back even if your just passing through. Spending time with your family in their time of need is priceless. I willing gave up 4 months of my life when my mother-in-law broke her hip, had to have hip replacement, went to the nursing home for rehab, and then died from blood clots. I was so blessed to spend that time with her.

Thank you everyone! I wore the cute sexy dress to the Wedding Saturday. My husband couldn't keep his eyes off of me. Everyone told me I looked great. Unfortunately my husband forgot to bring his camera. My mom took a picture, but she still uses the 35mm camera. It will take awhile to get my copy. My sister-in-law noticed my new eating habits and asked me today if I had what her friend had or my stomach stapled. I said "what does your friend have". She pointed at her throat and said "a band thing." I said "you mean a lapband." She said "yes." I said "I had the lapband and it is not in the throat it is in the stomach." She said "I knew you had to have done something because you look great."

BigPaul always makes me feel really good about myself. He's funny and silly but really smart right when you need him to be. TellyMelly keeps me motivated on days I think I want to slack and theres always a smile on my face when I'm talking to her, she just keeps me laughing. She brightens my day! Cutiern reminds me of my daughter. I love how she is young, independent, and willing to make financial sacrifices to change her life.

I had a very hard time drinking water for the first 4 weeks of band life. I hurt and burped like crazy. 7 weeks and no problems with water now.

I too had headaches a lot before being banded. Alway had them if I didn't eat for several hours. I have not had a headache since being banded. I realized two days ago when my husband said he had a headache that I haven't had a headache or taken Tylenol in over 7 weeks. I think I can count this as a medication reduction on my score card.

My daughter is having hers May 16th at the Surgicenter in Houston.
