My cats love to chase them lizzards! One of my cats will eat them. I have a funny story about them... I was living in Shiner, Texas AKA Shiner Bock, in a 1940's rent house. It was almost completely covered in vines and other shrubbery. Actually quit beautiful. I decided to get out my BBQ grill for the first time since moving. The only place there was an outside light was on the back driveway, so that is where I put my grill. I would have to walk half way around the outside of the house to get from the kitchen to the grill. I made about three trips when I noticed there was another outside door that would be closer. I had never opened this door so the door and the screen were locked from the inside. I went inside, quickly unlocked the door then quickly unlocked the screen door and started out the door. Just as I got the door open about 20 of those green lizzards fell right on my head. I am not afraid of lizzards, but when a herd of them suddenly fall on your head you scream and flap your arms trying to get them off of you. Probably the grossest thing was when the screen door slammed shut behind me it smushed another couple of dozen in the door frame. After I calmed down, I went around the house then into the house and locked those doors back with the lizzards still hanging in the screen door. I never opened that door again!

Just Layed out in the pool in the floatie today talking on the phone to my baby brother. I had a meeting to go to and didn't want to get my hair wet. Could I be any less motivated?

I understand small and poor districts! We moved from a small and poor district to a large and rich one when my girls were in High School. I am appalled at the differences and disadvantages. Do you know someone who specializes in Grant writing for technology? Our small and poor district had a very good grant writer (also superindent) who got a large Grant for technology. The school was falling done from age and neglect, but they had the latest in computers!

What school district are you in? You should have XP machines for teaching Technology!

I am going to Costa Rica in July for a mission trip. I will have absolutely no control over food options. I am only allowed one bag under 50 pounds, so carrying my shakes and enough food for the 9 days are not an option. I didn't think I would have to worry about this until I flew to KY to visit my friends. I don't know if it is the flying or what but I am very tight. I went to the grocery store and loaded up on shakes, Soup, Water, etc. So I am managing although not eating much. Now I fear I may have problems on my Costa Rica Trip. I only have 1.0cc in my band. Should I not worry and wing-it, or get at least a partial un-fill. :help:

Weirdest thing! The whole time I was in KY I could barely eat anything. Flew home and I am able to eat a lot easier. I still drink hot tea in the morning, but then I am OK to eat. I get full on a cup on anything, but I am not PBing! Now I am totally confused, but I have a plan of action. Take tea bags and powdered protein mix.

Victoriana, maybe those grommets are port holes so your food can look outside.

The band in my tummy doesn't worry me as much as the 28 years old safety pins running from my jaw bone into my head. Ever once in awhile one gets irritated. The Oral Surgeon said if they start poking out they would have to surgicaly remove them. It was bad enough pain when they were put in there, but I am sure taking them out will be worse!

Terri, BP is a very hard thing to control! I have a friend who has had High BP since her late 20's. Bloating was her biggest problem! She always ate healthy and walked for exercise, but was 30 pounds overweight from the fluid. At age 45, She got so bad she finally started going to an Endocronologist who completely changed her meds. She has been able to keep her pressure down and has lost the fluid in her body. She said she feels better then she has in years. My Mom was diagnosed with High BP 3 years ago. She is also having medication problems, but her biggest problem is she is still smoking. She started smoking at 12 and has never been able to quit. My Dad also retired last year and is driving her crazy!

Water makes it way worse! I did this once and PBed all the way to church one evening. Pull over open car door spit slime, pull over open car door spit slime with tuna, pull over open car door spit slime with tuna, pull over open car door spit slime with tuna...not a pretty sight!

OK that is weird. Call your doctor please! Have you tried elevating the head of your bed in case it is reflux?

I am going to a family reunion July 1st. To keep everyone from bugging me wanting to know how I lost weight so fast, I emailed my cousin and told her all about my surgery. Everyone will know before I get there now! The pressure is off now the world knows my little secret!

IBLoser, Only Very Smart people buy used cars! I tried to get my husband to consider used, but he wanted to hand pick it, so we pay the price. We all are sick of the YO YO Dieting. I have been on and off a diet since age 13 and have always gained weight plus more. I had really given up and decided to not even try anymore. I had just had my yearly checkup and the Doctor told me to start monitoring my Blood Pressure because it was reading high. During this monitoring period is when I went to the Lapband Seminar with my daughter and friend. I never dreamed I was a candidate, because all I ever heard was you have to be 100 pounds over weight to have WLS. I wasn't 100 pounds over yet, maybe in 10 years I would be there but I might be dead from High Blood Pressure by then. At the seminar I received HOPE that I hadn't felt in a very very long time. I discussed the possibility with my husband and he said go for it! Here I am 3 months post op minus 34 pounds and NO HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE! Thank you God for my Lapband!

I had my gallbladder removed in 1986. Sharp stabbing pain through the back to the stomache on right side just below rib cage. Worse then labor pains. It can come and go. If you eat something spicy or greasy, it can bring on an attack if you have gall stones. If you think this is what it is, you can go to your doctor and schedule an ultrasound to see if you have stones. You should have the gall bladder out first or maybe at the same time if your doctor will do this. You don't want the gall bladder to get inflammed or to burst!

IF you can eat anything without restriction, you need another fill. Does your fill doctor use the fluroscope to see that you are getting restriction from each of your fills?
