I had mine done last Wednesday, August 20th. I am doing much better now after a couple of days. I wasnt so sure at first with all of the darn gas pains (no one warned me about those!!) but now that it has pretty much subsided, things are alot better. I am not all that hungry just getting tired of the same ol soup, protein shakes, crystal light routine!! best of luck on your surgery, in the end, it will all be worth it!!

hi Kim, how are you feeling today? i am feeling better. just had my morning Protein shake. I am not feeling hungry between really, but if people are eating around me, I do with I could have some. But I have not slipped yet and eaten anything. I am too afraid of having my stomach have to churn something up to digest it and it affect the pouch. I am much more afraid of that than anything. What types of Snacks are you eating?

Hello everyone, My name is Amanda, I am 30 years old and I got the Lapband last week on August 20th at Portsmouth Naval Hospital. The crazy gas pains have subsided a bit and I am more mobile now. I am having headaches, but I assume that is due to lack of calories. I am trying to make sure I drink my 2 Protein shakes per day and have been drinking a Soup or two during the day. I know this will all get better with time, just looking forward to that time!!

Hi, Where are you having your band done? I had mine done on the 20th and I had it done at the Naval hospital. I was the second person to ever have it done there. They did a good job!
