I am a 45 year old female who lives in Medford Oregon. My procedure took place in Mexico with Dr. Lopez, who was just a wonderful doctor and staff. The Hospitial of Angels was just amazing, the latest in medical equiptment and it is like a luxury hotel, you would never know it was a hospitial. I went on a two week clear liquid diet before surgery and two weeks after, I began soft healthy foods 1 month after and last thurs I had my first fill. I was a bit nervious at first but soon regained consciousness...kidding! It was ok, I don't like needles but I did it and was glad I did...I will only have to have 3-4 fills during the first year I am told by my N.D. Doctor. I have been reading and learning a lot since I now too have been banded, I want to be very successful and do this right. I also joined a Gym and work out 3 times a week for 2 hrs, well the 1 hr. is swimming, jacuzzi and sauna, but it makes it all worth wild. Thank you for writing.
