Yeah. I hear what you're saying. I never really liked that saying...I sure as hell wouldn't want anyone to have to walk in my shoes

Will do! Thank you so much:D -
I agree, you do not have to "walkin someone shoes" in order to like or dislike them...people hate and love me, but they haven't walked in my shoes...

They gave that to my 2 year old son to sedate him for an MRI! They had to stop the MRI early because his breathing was so bad!
-
Well, they are searching the MJ's dr for man slaughter because they think he gave mj drugs at home and that wasn't right or something...they are saying he was murdered.
-
I dressed as him for halloween one year...does that count? lol

Pregnancy After Miscarraige

Yeah. My first appointment is tomorrow so my fingers are crossed that things go well...I am so nervous! -
I was already told that I wont be able to carry to term or have a natural birth...it sucks but it's better than what almost happened! When I had my son they almost did a complete hysterectomy! I was almost 21. Anyways, I don't think the intent of this thread is to condemn the fans so much as just condemn the man himself for his actions and whatever he has been accused of...I think fans just get too sensitive about things so they feel they are being attacked and bashed.

I will keep my fingers and toes crossed  lol

Thanks! I'll keep everyone posted

Yes I am...I go in for my first appointment on Friday. I'm trying to stay positive, but still very nervous!

I hear you! I have had a really rough year as well! I am Bipolar and off my meds...I have good days, but I have a lot of bad days! Sometimes it's hard to see the light, but if you dig down and look hard enough you will see that little pin point of light glowing in the darkness! Try writting down your thoughts! Try to find a good side to things....sometimes it's hard, but...try. Watch a funny movie or a fun book! Hell watch some cartoons! Good luck and I hope things get better for you!

When you chew lettuce in a salad it doesn't really break it up, instead it bruises it and mushes it into a ball. So when you swallow it a lot of time it will open up and just lay over your pouch! When you do have salad go for really crunchy leaves like romaine instead or spinach and softer greens!

Also, (I know this is late) remember that in your job you see the worst! You're not seeing all the healthy kids that are born because they don't need you! I am the mother of a Special needs and disabled 2 year old boy. I am now pregnant again and I am terrified! I just had a miscarrige in May at 5 weeks and now I am 6 weeks pregnant. I have had my band for almost a year now. The band hasn't been shown to cause any problems. After all it doesn't change how you absorb vitamins and what not!

That's easier said then done. Our special needs/disabled 2 year old son just had brain surgery and we're packing to move. I'm trying to take it easy as much as possible... -
worried my band could be stretched

I agree...but they asked for our opinions so that's what we were giving them... -

Mine tells her patients to stay away from bread, pasta, and rice, but if I really need to have bread to make sure that it is toasted. However, I need to eat my protein and veggies/fruit first. -

Pregnancy After Miscarraige

I wouldn't wish for someone to go through what we have gone through...I just couldn't imagine saying that I would want to be pregnant even if I m/c just to feel it...that doesn't seem right. I have been through a lot at my age and no one wants to go through this...no matter what! -
LOL thank you thank you!
-
LOL! I hear ya. I look like I've melted....my poor 23 year old boobies are draggin the ground! lmao

Pregnancy After Miscarraige
rodriguezequal replied to rodriguezequal's topic in Pregnancy with Weight Loss Surgery
I didn't worry and put my first pregnancy in "God's" hands and he gave me a disabled and special needs son. There were no reasons for the majority of my son's problems. -
Banded 05/01/09, conceived 05/31/09
rodriguezequal replied to tmbennett8's topic in Pregnancy with Weight Loss Surgery
I was always told that if you're over weight when you become pregnant that it is okay to lose during the pregnancy as long as the baby is getting what he/she needs! -
Pregnant BEFORE lap-band??
rodriguezequal replied to The Mon's topic in Pregnancy with Weight Loss Surgery
I am going to say are you serious to this last statement. (lol) I know this post is old, but how did you think they put a band around your stomach and a port onto you abdominal muscle? Did you do research before considering surgery or did you just jump in with both feet? I'm not trying to be mean, but I researched the band for a good 4 years before I had it done....Anyways, I hope your pregnancy went (is going) well and that someday when you are ready and know what you're in for you are able to make the choice to get the band or not! Good luck with everything!
