How far in advance your surgery is. My surgery was scheduled for like a week after my surgical consult...it was sooo fast! -

I went to a seminar. Within a few days I went in to have my consult. I then went in about a week later to have my psych eval and my surgeon consult, scheduled my surgery and within that next month I was having the band placed! I was only on the pre op diet for like 4-5 days! Because I was financed/approved through CareCredit I was able to get everything done fast! It would take longer going through insuarance though. -

So far I haven't had any problems. I haven't even needed to get an unfill...I'll probably need one eventually, but for now I'm doing okay! You can also go to nwwls.com they have the surgeons one there and everything. My surgeon was Dr. Chock...she was awesome! -

I paid around 16,000. Which includes a year of free fills and appointments. The evals and 2 year fix it guarantee. Which pretty much means if anything happens to the band (erosion, slippage) they will fix it free all I have to pay is the anesthisia (sp). I make payments each month, just like a credit card -

I missed Cali It's nice to drive on the freeway going 75 with a cop right next to ya :w00t: lol. Also a lot of our main roads have a speed limit of 50 instead of 35 -
My surgeon recommended I wait a year...I almost made it to a year too lol...My husband and I started trying for baby number 2 in March/April. I was pregnant by May, but had a miscarraige at 5 weeks. Then in July we found out we were pregnant again. This is a very high risk pregnancy, but nothing that happened had ANYTHING to do with the band...if anything the band has helped. I am in my 3rd month and I weigh less then I did when I conceived my son! Good luck in making your decision. I am also 23, but my son is 2 and special needs/disabled

I learned to drive in Cali and a lot of the people in the Tacoma area are military that aren't from here. My husband is set to deploy again next month and we've already been there for 4/5 years. With this high risk pregnancy I'm going to have to stay in Cali with my parents to care for me and my son -

Oh no....when I moved there I LOVED the rain....would go for walks in it...sit outside and watch it. I just hate it there lol. A lot of the people (one's you run into at stores and what not) have no sense of humor. Barely anyone knows how to drive in the rain, snow, or even sunshine lol. It's beautiful there though! -

It was a mix of things...the rain, the people, being so far from "home" and the post...I used to love the rain before I moved there. -

I had my first m/c on May 13th. I just found out that I am pregnant again. They drew my HCG levels 3 times and these were my levels: Friday: 32 (4pm draw) Monday: 55 (9am draw) Thursday: 155 (9am draw) I am so scared that I am going to m/c again. My levels look low, but they seem to be going up. I haven't seen an OB yet, but this is going to be a pretty high risk pregnancy. Has anyone else had low levels like this and been okay? Has anyone else been pregnant after a m/c.? I am so terrified that I am going to mc again or have another special needs/disable baby like my son. I am 23 and I have a 2 year old son. He just had brain surgery on the 15th so I am under a lot of stress...I find myself crying a lot and my stomach hurts...Any advice about any of this lol :wink2: TIA

I am doing okay. I missed 2 shots and started feeling better, but as soon as I started them again I was back to feeling dizzy...I'm going to ask the doctor about it. I did find an OB here and have my first appointment on Thursday at 3pm . When did everyone start showing? I'm almost 8 weeks and I look preggo lol. -
Pregnancy After Miscarraige

The move went okay. I didn't do anything, really. We had to stay at a hotel on the way to Cali because I was hurting and not feeling well. Hopefully I will be able to get a great OB soon down here. I may go to the Urgent Care or ER tomorrow since I am still feeling pretty sick. Now I am having a lot of tightness in my chest with coughing! Grrr... -
So far I've had quite a bit of "morning sickness", but no vomiting! It's horrible though...plus I'm sick! Grrrr
-
No problem! When ever I have a salad (not very often) I go for the crunchy parts lol. The romaine hearts and spines of the lettuce!
-
I'm a little over 7 weeks now. Still no unfill. I went from about 210 to 199.6 :crying: since my fill a few weeks ago. Don't worry about that 5 pounds...I mean you do have a baby growin in you You just have to make sure you keep your gaining under control and eat healthy :frown: Good luck!!!
