I just read yesturday that 90% of women who find out their baby will have Downs, abort the fetus. Just thought I would throw that out there.

Did you ever stop to think that maybe the counseling is for what led to the pregnancy in the first place? Not everyone terminates a pregnancy because they think the embyo is a blob...come one. I did not feel guilty for what I did, but I needed counseling because I was guilty about what "I let" happen to me...

Yeah I know. I am very lucky to have the family that I do have. I was just saying that for people who has someone in their family that has an abortion, so that they know that sometimes your support is what they need the most. :laugh:. All of my counselors in life have SUCKed so bad...lol. I was watching a Wife Swap today and the lady said that she always has the amnio done when she's pregnant and that if it ever showed her baby had Downs that she would abort it immediately...that made me sad...and a little angry. I hate people like that, but it would be her right to do it...

I just wanted to say that after my aboriton I went to some counseling, but the counseling that helped me the most, that I got the most out of was from my family. The love and support of my family made all the difference in how I moved on from what had happened to me. So while it is great to help someone find the right person to talk to, remember that sometimes family that is open and supportive is the best support group there is. I felt like the counselor didn't care/didn't listen to me...that they didn't understand me and I've felt that way with counselors my whole life...I have always been able to turn to my family and I always knew that they wouldn't be judging me...just loving me and listening

Not true...though most of them yes, but sometimes they abort a fetus that is already dead...it does happen, but I know what you are saying.

This is what I was responding to. When you said well if you would have read the whole artidle.... then I was saying I agree to when Mindy said well them put the entire article not just portions of it. I did not mean I agree that it was a spin...I was just agreeing that you should have posted the whole article if there was more to it.

I have not ONCE refered to anyone on here as anti choice. I have said pro choice and pro life. Look I am really tired of this battle of words with you. I have my choice...I am entitled to my choice and my choice is that I am pro choice. I have been pro-choice since I was younger and no one is going to change my mind...if someday I decide to change my mind then it will be my choice. I am not saying that what you are saying is wrong or right or that I'm right and you wrong...there is no right or wrong when it is an opinion. Please, I am tired of feeling like I am in a fight. Please can we just calm down and talk, not yell at each other or attack individuals, when the things you said above about anti choice and what not had nothing at all to do with me.

I mean that the an abortion is done, most of the time, without evil intent. Evil intent would make it murder...If you don't agree with it then that is okay because it makes sense to ME...and that's all that matters right

That wasn't even a long story...it made no sense to shorten it...The act was done with Evil intent which is murder...an abortion is not murder...that is why he should be charged...

Yeah she was on the news because she had 8, but SHE set up the website begging for money. SHE went on Dr. Phil asking for help from him and people watching. SHE did interviews asking for people to donate and to help...oh and here is what we need....blah blah blah. SHE is the one that hasn't even bought beds or car seats for babies SHE KNEW she was having!!!! SHE is the one that is saying that she knows that churches in the area and schools are willing to help her with her kids and their needs...She didn't need just one more kid! She didn't even have the means to care for 1 kid let alone 14! She treats these kids like dolls or kittens not like kids! Oh look at the babies. She even said that she was having kids to fill a void that her childhood left in her, that her mother didn't fill when she was younger. When she had her first pregnancy she told her mom that it was a tumor when her mom noticed she was getting bigger. One of the men she got sperm from she told him that she had cancer and couldn't conceive normally. She is a liar. She is $50,000 in debt! She used her student loans to buy things for herself and her kids, she leeches off of everyone that she can scam into her little sob story! She is not innocent in this! Even her dad said that she is mentally not right...her own dad! Come on this lady is not in her right mind. You would take children away from any other mother that was suicidal and talking about harming herself or others? Why is this different? Because you feel bad for her? Come on! These kids don't even have thier own beds! They live in a dump!!! That is not fair for those kids!

Costs of raising a baby are a big deal and they should make women aware of it! Maybe no women were asking to go else where...maybe those women went in searching for an abortion and not searching for their "options"...just because you have numbers and statistics doesn't mean you have all the facts!

Times have changed and beliefs are different...so yeah maybe back then they acted as if it is your only option, but that is not how it is now...I've been to PPH...So what you are saying is you went against what you preach....you had sex before marraige *gasp*. I guess we all do things that we weren't/aren't proud of...

America would have stayed out of her business if she didn't come begging on shows and the internet for help and donations and money for kids she had no business bringing into this world! In other parts of the country it is also okay to beat you kids and wives and have sex with children does that mean we should follow suit aand do the same thing?

Asking me to take my emotions and experience out of this is like telling you to remove your logic or patty to remove her god...We all have different reasons for where we stand...We shouldn't have to shut off that part of who we are and what we believe.

I am so tied of it always being an arguement instead of just a conversation. I think abortions should be legal which would mean that it wouldn't be consdered illegal/murder. I think that murder should only be used if therson was killing with an evil intent...Nothing you can say will make me question where I stand in any of this. I stand where I am because it is my opinion. I don't need you to "help" me look at the logic or see the "problem" here...it is my belief...that is why it is called MY belief and not YOURS!

If this was a majority vote...look at the poll results so far...abortion would be legal. Pro-choice is the majority on this poll (If you look at the percentages up top)...So...Are you sure you know what you are asking for? As someone said before there are "Christians" that are pro-choice...

I did not in any part of my post say "proper". I did not say it was murder. I said that is the way it is now. I did not say agreed with it. I said that right now if an abortion is done illegally that the woman is held reasponsible for the death...I didn;t say where I stood one that issue...maybe you should read my posts more than once before you come at me with logic....thank you.
