Real Life Sex Educator Here---Feel Free to Ask Questions!

I was molested at 3, raped at 13, and assualt at 15...my mother was raped and beaten when I was 9...It helped me to be in control. My husband let me be the one on top and "in control" during sex...allowing me to feel less vunerable...it really helped me...I got to decide what we did, how fast, and what not...it really did help...I was more comfortable with the lights on at first...but now I like it off lol. I am here if you need to pm me or anything...I understand how hard this can be.

I've heard that before too...a lot of the girls that I knew that grew up in strictly religious homes/schools were doing drugs/smoking/drinking and having sex at younger ages than me and my public school/not very religious friends

And where in your bible does your god tell you that abortion is wrong? I presented you with scripture and quotes that contradict that...so what now?

It's first goal is to prevent sperm from reaching the egg, but if a sperm does get by it prevents the egg from sticking to the wall...

Maybe you should do more research cause the IUD makes it so the egg cannot implant. That is unrealistic Patty!

So it's not a horribble idea? What about all the unwanted babies that would be born...all the young girls getting pregnant? What would we do then???

Hmm I pretty sure a lot of forms of birth control make it difficult for a fertilized egg to implant so then the egg just washes out...that sounds like the makings of an abortion to me...? I was just saying that if abortion is made illegal then some...a lot...of birth control methods would be made illegal as well

when you say life of the mother you mean the physicality of it and not her life as in what she must live...I think she has the right to protect her life wether it be protecting herself from dying or protecting herself for changing physically, emotionally, and her life from changing...Also on the death penalty but if the murderer asks for forgiveness shouldn't his sins be forgiven? Should he be given another chance according to the "Lord"?

Well said. I agree that they do not see a living/whole person as they see a developing fetus...hell with our lives...hell with our bodies, our health, or physical and mental well being...you must carry this fetus for "just" 9 months...what if that 9 months kills the woman...who cares if the baby is okay right?!

So if we make abortions illegal then we will also have to do so with the majority of birth controls....that seems like a horrible idea!!!

It said that he was a sinner at conception so when you say do not kill the innocent who would you be talking about...there are no innocents according to that passage. I am posting those scriptures because they contradict some of the things you have writen...some of the things that you preach to be the word of God

For the proud shall be humbled, but the humble shall be honored." (TLB, Luke 18:9-14) "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. (NIV, Matthew 7:1-2) As Christians, we need to remember that we are all sinners in God's eyes (Romans 3:23), and that God loves all His children, even those who believe differently than we do (Matthew 5:43-48). We cannot afford to let our strong feelings on abortion issues blind us to Jesus' commandment to "Love your neighbor as yourself" (Matthew 22:36-39). (Quoted from What does the Bible say about abortion?) "Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me." --Psalm 51:5 (How can you be innocent with sin?) What Does the Bible Say About Abortion? Nothing - Associated Content The pro-life position is really a pro-fetus position, and the pro-choice position is really pro-woman. Those who take the pro-fetus position define the woman in relation to the fetus. They assert the rights of the fetus over the right of the woman to be a moral agent or decision maker with respect to her life, health, and family security. (quoted from: RCRC - Protestant)

There is no proof that God does not approve of abortions! Wow....just a flood of supporters and not one can speak up for their beliefs...I find that hard to believe. So you all can protest outside of Planed Parenthoods, but you can't post on an internet thread...you can vote against it and trash people that have it done, but you can't stand up?

You can't just pick and choose because you don't like what your Bible has said. The qouted scripture! How can you say they're twisting things and saying what they want to be said...the quotes are coming from YOUR GOD"S BIBLE!!!!!! I'm pretty sure if you follow the Bible you should follow ALL of it and not just pick and choose what you like and what you think God wants....

What Does The Bible Say About Abortion? "Out of more than 600 laws of Moses, none comments on abortion. One Mosaic law about miscarriage specifically contradicts the claim that the bible is antiabortion, clearly stating that miscarriage does not involve the death of a human being. If a woman has a miscarriage as the result of a fight, the man who caused it should be fined. If the woman dies, however, the culprit must be killed." "According to the bible, life begins at birth--when a baby draws its first breath. The bible defines life as "breath" in several significant passages, including the story of Adam's creation in Genesis 2:7, when God "breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." Jewish law traditionally considers that personhood begins at birth." "Many antiabortionists quote the sixth commandment, "Thou shalt not kill" (Ex. 20:13) as evidence that the bible is antiabortion. They fail to investigate the bible's definition of life (breath) or its deafening silence on abortion. Moreover, the Mosaic law in Exodus 21:22-25, directly following the Ten Commandments, makes it clear that an embryo or fetus is not a human being. An honest reader must admit that the bible contradicts itself. "Thou shalt not kill" did not apply to many living, breathing human beings, including children, who are routinely massacred in the bible. The Mosaic law orders "Thou shalt kill" people for committing such "crimes" as cursing one's father or mother (Ex. 21:17), for being a "stubborn son" (Deut. 21:18-21), for being a homosexual (Lev. 20:13), or even for picking up sticks on the Sabbath (Numbers 15:32-35)! Far from protecting the sanctity of life, the bible promotes capital punishment for conduct which no civilized person or nation would regard as criminal." "The bible is not pro-child. Why did God set a bear upon 42 children just for teasing a prophet (2 Kings 2:23-24)? Far from demonstrating a "pro-life" attitude, the bible decimates innocent babies and pregnant women in passage after gory passage, starting with the flood and the wanton destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, progressing to the murder of the firstborn child of every household in Egypt (Ex. 12:29), and the New Testament threats of annihilation." SO SAYS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR!!!
