I don't believe in "God" so I can't really answer that, but it's like I KNOW my son will go to school, but I don't know what his actions will be at school...?

It makes sense to me...Just because "God" knows the choices we are abot to make doesn't mean that he decides what those choices are going to be...

I agree 100%. What would happen if I just sat around and prayed for my son to get better? Nothing...He needs to have surgery, he needs to have his brain worked on by a man...who may or may not believe God...Praying will not solve everything...it may solve nothing!

Thank you so much...we need all the prayers and fingers crossed we can get...even if I do not share in the beliefs I am not going to turn down good thoughts for my son.

It's really hard because since we're trying to have a baby I have been off all of my meds (I'm bipolar, have anxiety issues, major depression and PTSD). It has been a very hard couple of months and I keep hoping that things will get better soon!!! Thank you for your support and prayers they are appreciated!!!

I have sent a red cross message to get my husband to come home, but they have to verify what I am saying with the doctors and they wont be in until monday. As soon as we have a suregery date my mom and dad are going to fly up here. He has a lot of pressure on his brain right now and he needs this surgery soon. I am so so scared! I wish things would get better. I also got a call yesturday that my other Uncle is in the hospital, his cancer has moved into his brain. I will never get to see him again...my heart hurts so much right now

We have to go in for the consult first next week...then as soon as they can get it done...it's so rushed...I feel like I'm in a worldwind...sorry to take the debate off of the topic :blushing:

This will be my son's 3rd surgery, 2nd on his brain. He had a VP Shunt put in when he was 6 months old. My husband is away in training so I am doing this alone right now...I am so afraid of losing my son. He is my world...I am so so scared

Okay it is not illegal to be racist...it is only illegal if you kills or beat someone because of it. We should be allowed to decide what our own beliefs are...we should decide what we pass on to our children, if we should decide to have any. We determine the outcome of our own lives...you do not get to decide mine, just as I do not get to decide yours!

Did you ever stop to think that the pregnant woman is the real victim...? Of course not because you don't care for adults...you care about a fetus! Is there no sanctity for the individual life of the pregnant woman...? They are humans...we are not perfect...you included...we are all wrong every once in a while. This is exactly why I am pissed! My first child...our son, I carried him only to 7 months (more or less) and he was pretty much born dead....if I were back in the days of your Jesus both him and I would have died...I also got pregnant again and lost my baby at 5 weeks...maybe instead of using your god you should use your heart and your brain and realize how much you hurt people on here!

I did not say I got pregnant at 7...I said I started my period at 7! Pay attention a little...just a little please. MOST girls have their period before the age of 14 now a days...more and more girls are having them at 9 and 10...A girls body and life are in danger if she is pregnant before the age of 16...read some medical articles...our bodies are not finished growing...our vaginas are small and tight, our muscles aren't fully developed in our abdomins, our breast aren't fully developed and neither are our minds!...if a 10 year old were to give birth it would tear her in half!

I'm picking at straws? I started my period at age 7!!! It was Mother's Day to be exact!!! Young girls are having their periods at younger and younger ages every year! A childs body is not ready to carry a baby plain and simple!!! I thought you said bye...?
