the hardest part of the surgery for me was the gas pain in my left shoulder other than that it is just a bit of soreness, I really do miss diet soda though!

Good for you, I am glad that you are doing so good. How much weight do you want to lost? I am getting ready for my banding, but I am getting scared at the same time. I am going to tell the Dr. to have that band tight, because I do not like neddles. O well you can talk to me any time that you want too. Have a good day. Sheryl

this is my 4th day since surgery and still moving along at a steady pace. hope to have my first fill on sept 8th. i feel like I am not as tight as should be I can drink more than 3ozs at the time but only had a hunger pain once an that was today. I did not want to hear it but still praying that things will go great. take it one day at a time. take care keep in touch. my family gets tired of hearing me talk about the lapband so I will bend your ear since you will soon be a lapbander also

Hi there I am from Gulf Shores Ala. But my home is in Braidwood IL. We moved there with my husbands wk about 10 years ago. It is a town about 40 miles out of Chicago. I love it there. Please keep in touch.

Hi Carolyn, Keep on telling yourself you will do great. I hope that your diet before surgery, will come easy for you. I think that,that will be a hard 2 weeks. I have to be on a liquid diet. I will be doing alot of praying. Let me know how you are doing. Sheryl

:biggrin: I am going to have this done next month (8-08) Could someone tell me what was the wrost part of surgery? And should you give yourself a bout a week to 2 weeks to get over it?
