WHY are people voting for McCain?

Any way you look at it a baby's life is taken when an abortion occures. Who will stand for the choice of the unborn. I will I choose life for the baby over the choice of a person who desires not to be inconvenienced by having to bring a new life into the world. Any way you want to twist it around it is still choosing to take the life of an unborn child. I call that murder!!!

  5. Greetings, I need some help. I have finally been approved by the insurance company. It looks like my surgery date will be Nov. 4. Can someone give me some advice about how much time I need to take off work. I have an office job. I have one week of vacation so I will be taking only a week to recover. I will not be taking any sick leave because I am not telling anyone except my immediate family. Will one week be enough?

    Question about recovery time

Sounds like you have had a great time so far. I hope my experience goes as well as yours has. I am a little anxious. I still am wondering how I will deal with the emotions that have led me to over eating. I want to be free of the mis direc ted emotions and be healed of the dependance i have on food as an emotional outlet. Any advice?

    Banded 12/18 And staving!!

Thanks so much for the wisdom and depth of insight you are offering teacher5thgrade and lapbandana. I have been reading things from any sight I can get my hands on. I realize that band slippage can be an issue and the time of "band hell" won't be good as well. I am concerned about those things. However, I am more concerned about being able to stand not being able to eat all I want etc. My 17 year old son said something last night that openerd my eyes. I shared with Him my concerns about missing being able to eat a bunch and wondering if I could put up with all the restrictions. He said, "Think about it, the benefits will make you forget what what you think you will be missing. You will be so happy that you can get around better and feel so much better without all the pain. The benefits will be so great that what you will be giving up will be minor in comparison." I don't think I am at rock bottom. But I do not want to get to that point before I do something. I want to show some wisdom in living. I weigh 344lbs and am suffering with back issues as well as other comorbidities. Maybe I am at rock bottom?? Your thoughts?

    Banded 12/18 And staving!!

Thanks for your reply. I am having second thoughts. I love to eat. I am concerned that I won't be able to do well on the new life style. I have been reading about others who have really had a difficult time. I am psycholgically well, but I sure don't want to give up eating. How difficult will it be to really do this thing? Can you offer any wisdom?

    Banded 12/18 And staving!!

Greetings, New! I am in the process of doing all the presurgery tests. Just about finished with them. The next step is to finish the insurance approval process. Most likely will be a couple of months before I can be banded. What is the most difficult thing about being banded?
