I guess I"ll join the challenge, though I'm rather sick of being a failure.
5 weeks = 10lbs for me.
I've just started going out to the local lake with a friend of mine. She's like a drill sergeant, "jog to this tree", "run to that trash can", "if you can talk you can jog!". She kicked my ass yesterday morning! We did a mile and a half in about 20 minutes and boy am I sore today. But that was only Day 1 for us, and we're going to do it 3 days a week at 6am before work. With her beside me, I can accomplish great things. This ball is going to start rolling, I just know it.
