I’m 4 weeks post op.. but day after surgery my CO2 was low abnormally and I had to get extra iv and it was low but normal low.. yesterday my primary told me to get blood to see if I was okay and my co2 is still low but critical but I’m worried .. anyone else? Everything is fine my b12 is a little high but all my vitamins are great my liver heart and kidneys also good and my wbc is finally normal .. anyone else with low co2?

Am I the only crazy person who screamed waking up from Anesthesia due to the gas? I’m almost 3 weeks post op but I was so embarrassed

I had my two week post op appt today and can start puréed /soft foods.. I tried an egg I could only eat a little.. anyone else in puréed with things they enjoy? I can drink 3 protein shakes and water down but the food is giving me a little anxiety

My preop was a 2 week liver diet with 4 shakes a day and three options out of six items- hard boiled egg, fat free cottage cheese, fat free ricotta, protein pudding .. the first day I had a salad lol.. but it gets easier make sure you enjoy your protein shake.. I found a brand I really liked. I lost 16 lbs in 2 weeks.

My surgery is tomorrow! I been worried about the wrongs that could happen.. but then I am excited.. less than 24 hours

I’m approved for Jan 4th- excited but nervous- I have to start pre op diet on the 21st for two weeks
