Hi CJay, Not very close but we wish you the best on Nov. 2. We live in Truckee and both have Lap Bands. Wife has had hers since "01". She has loss 85 pounds her goal. I had my Band done This year and have loss 68 pounds. 20 pounds to go I don't see any problem. We had Dr. Billy do both here in Truckee. He comes to Truckee once a month from Ventura. We had the LB's done in our Hosp. in Truckee. My wife had hers done in 01 and I had mind done this last Feb.10th. She has lost 81 pounds and is in the maintaining faze. She go's up and down within 5 pounds and has full control of what she weighs. I have lost 58 pounds so far and we both feel great! You will enjoy going to The group meetings with Dr. Billy, we enjoy them he has up here. Best of luck:) K & J

We live in Truckee,ca. north of Lake Tahoe and Dr. Billy did both of us. We think he is your best bet! I would ask your insurer why not Dr. Billy? K & J

Hi Divamom, We don't live in Sacramento, but have heard from folks that have had fills done somewhere in that area you are moving to. We live in Truckee and Dr. Billy comes up from Ventura once a month to do Lapband Surgerys or what ever needs to be done. We are about Two hours east of Sacrament on Hwy. 80 if you don't find what you need after moving out here. Dr.Billy did the Lapband Surgery for both of us,and things are great! We lived in Livermore, but now live in Truckee and had our Bands done here by Dr.Billy and its been great. Wife 81 pounds gone. As for me 42 pounds gone. Wife Judy 2001 and 2006 for me. Hope you are doing well also. Konrad & Judy

I started eating a few days after surgery, but my wife that has a Ban also didn't start till three days after surgery so you can only go by how you feel. We are all very different so go slow and Happy Days to you! Konrad

Who did your Band ? I had Dr. Billy in Truckee. 3/10/06 all is well so far. My wife had him do hers in 2001 and I couldn't wait to have it done. She is on maintains now after 80 + pounds. I have lost 40 so far. Smiling in Truckee,Ca.

Please just chill, you won't even know that you had anything done. It's been good for my wife and I both. She had it done in 01 and I did it in 2/10/06 we are happy about the whole thing. Food no longer is everything. We still eat out alot and share one dinner, we don't leave hungry,and yes we share a desert. She has loss all she needed, just doing a even pound or two up & down. I'm lossing 39 so far my thing is walking. K & J

I had my done 3-10-06 18 pounds, my wife has had hers since summer of 2001 loss of 85 pounds. We are doing great! As for the pain we both have had very little to none.

I got done 3-10-2006 so far 18 pounds of fat gone! Happy Days! My wife got hers done in the summer of 2001 and has loss 85 pounds. She just goes up and down with a few pounds but has no problem losing just by longer workouts. K & J Williams Truckee,Ca.

I too had my first fill and I'm feeling great. Lost 36 so far. Had no pain yet.
