    I had my surgery on Tuesday and have lost 10 pounds since then. I lost 15 pounds on my liquid diet before surgery so 25 pounds down total. This makes me so happy.❤️

    Yea I’m able to have soup in 1 oz intervals every 15 min. My parents have been making me chicken noodle soup and draining the broth for me so it has extra flavor compared to just buying chicken broth in a can. I also have been having tomato soup which has filled me up. Might add garlic to soup that’s a good idea. I don’t think I can have bean soup it has to be creamy or broth.

    Thanks so much for your thoughtful reply! I will have to try that “potion” your friend made you. Sounds yummy. I’ve been resting a lot too since surgery. Been feeling really weak on this liquid diet. The 8th will be here before you know it! You got this! Almost to soft foods!

    Hi everyone, I just had my gastric bypass surgery and hiatal hernia repair on Tuesday. Getting into the groove of drinking water every 15 min but did a bad job yesterday. I’m really struggling with this liquid diet and can’t wait until I can eat soft foods after my doctor clears me on Dec 12 for my follow up appt. Any tips on making it through the liquid diet? I’m getting tired of soups and protein shakes only. I’ve lost 5 pounds since my surgery so far so I’m on the right path also 15 pounds since starting my liquid diet 3 weeks ago. One day at a time.

    So I just went to a general surgeon for a clinic visit bc I have a hiatal hernia and he recommended I have gastric bypass. My BMI is 44 and he said he couldn’t repair my hiatal hernia unless I did the weight loss surgery. I’m waiting for their office to call me to tell me if my insurance will cover it. I’m hopeful that I will be able to get it done and lose weight and get healthy. Does anyone have any thoughts on gastric bypass? I downloaded an audiobook about it and the author said he made this website so I joined.
