My name is Tanya I have always struggled with my weight up and down. When I would take my daughter to school her friends would tell her that he mother looked like a "Cow" or something negative. It never bother me but it bother her. I decided in 2007 that I need to do something about my weight. I tried everything under the sun. I would lose 10 or 15 lbs but something stressful would happen and I would turn to food and eat my weight back on. I researched it for about 6months then decided to make the call to see Dr. Bilton . Of course I had to take My mother with me because I am a chicken when it comes to seeing a doctor. I later received a call saying that I had been approved. Before I got that call I had decided it was not for me (I was chicken). The nurse said when she called " you have been approved we need you to pick a date" I had to pick on the spot no backing out. That's when my weight loss journey began. I am now a year out and have lost 63lbs. I'm down from 298 to 235 and can not wait to be at my goal weight which started out being 185 but has quickly turned into 165. I work out at least 5 days a week if not more. I feel bad if I'm not doing something. I take the stairs at work instead of the elevator and love to try on new clothes. I don't even mind if someone takes my picture.
