Hi all I am on the clear liquid diet myself for the next week. It basiclly mimicks all you have already said. I do have this problem...While I am doing ok with the diluted apple juice/coffee/sf jello/beef broth/sf popsickles/crystal lite My stomach is doing nothing but GROWLING!! I am not "hungry" and am too afraid to eat anything anyway...but I just growl...burp and so my life is....sip growl burp!! sip growl burp!!! I dont know how to stop it or what to do for it... I am having trouble sleeping at night as I can only lay on my back and my back is full of gas pains....so that isnt working for me right now....The heating pad has helped me A LOT! My stomach is still distended and While I have lost weight...(Yes I weighed myself of course..thus my obsession to begin with) I look like I am 15 months pregnant with triplets!!! My body type is that I am just all around heavy not pregnant looking... You know what I mean...

Congrats! I just had my surgery on tuesday....I am doing better today than the last 2 days....but the first day out I was pretty morphined up...lol Todaay I am coherient! (I think...lol):tt2:

In less thn 24 hours this will all be over with.....or should I say just beginning..I CANT WAIT!!!!! I am nervous, anxious, happy, scared...thrilled excited!!! Just need this to happen already...

Hey! We are Band day buddies!!! I am also getting banded on Aug 26th...Long story but I was approved over a year ago and I couldnt get it done than...(and I also chickened out...but) Now I am actually waiting insurance approval for the second time and since they are so confidant I will get it they scheduled my surgery for aug 26th! I cant wait to get this done...

Hi all! I have to say that I have been lurking all week and love this forum... A year and a half ago I was all set for surgery, approved and all and had to cancel it because I got sick and they couldnt do the surgery on me with a 103 fever....I went over to ObH boards and became terrified of all the horro stories over there... Over the last year, I have regretted that I didnt reschedule...I have rescheduled now...of course had to go through all of the insurance stuff again (WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!!) But I am scheduled again for Aug 26th....and unless insurance throws me a whammy in the next week...I am so set to go and very excited!!!! Here is to my journey!!! And yours!!!
