I started my pre-op liquid diet yesterday. It was easy to follow in the morning, and while at work, but I really struggled last night when I was home from work.
Today I'm doing a bit better. Last night I needed to feel something solid in my mouth, and I made some eggbeaters (no carb). No oil, butter, just the eggbeaters in a non-stick pan (1/2 cup). It really satisfied me. It only had 12 grams of Protein, so I supplemented it with a packet of protein wey, in V8 juice.
Tomorrow I'm preparing for a colonoscopy (yuck) so being on the liquid diet already will make it go a little easier (I hope).
