    Should I get an Unfill?

    Just be really careful... I wasn't able to get down water about two weeks ago and had to go in and have fluid removed... I would say give till tomorrow to see if anything changes and if not def make an appt bc you'll run the risk of stretching it when you switch to something more solid and that def stinks!!

  4. Thanks for the great advice and words of encouragement. I am scheduled to get banded on 4-24-10! I am sure I will have lots of questions along the way and you look like the right person to ask since you have done SOOO awesome!!! :)

  5. Very exciting! I will be one year out on May 15th! I started at 213 and fluctuate between 138 and 145... right now today its 143 ;-) I have been doing really great til about thanksgiving then I kind of fell off the workout ban wagon. Started back today and doing great. I find that if I actually work out I eat healthier just for the protein bc if not I feel weak... But if you ever have any questions or just need someone to talk to about your journey I'm here!

  8. And with the holidays I've been eating a lot of junk to, chocolate and bread with butter! For some reason I've been CRAVING bread and gobs of butter which is completely GROSS! But my hubby says it's because my body is craving fat bc I'm not eating good enough to keep my energy level up. When I work out I eat a lot better =) But if you need any help don't hesitate to ask questions I'll help you as much as I can!

  9. I'm sitting at 146-150... I definitely the food issues... I eat normally malt o meal, poptarts or dry cereal for bkfast. Lunch is normally rolled up lunch meat with spicy mustard and cheese. Dinner is anything really... My husband travels so if he's not home I don't cook unless I have to. It is normally something easy for my kids... I eat protein bars or yogurt bars during snack time. I'm one of those rare people that eat 6 meals a day. I eat about every two to three hours. I was working out five days a week and have really slacked off this past month with the holidays going on. Now it's hard to get motivated to get back in gear. I'm losing a lot of my muscle and my skin is starting to sag really bad... so I've been trying here lately to at least get my protein in! That's probably why I'm stuck right now!

  10. congratulations!! Im at 169,,,really want to get to 150 but am having a hard time with my nutrition. what kinds of things do you eat.

     

    i do: odwalla protein monster, eggs, chili. grapes, apples, dry cereal

    lately ive been having hot choc n ice cream which i know i shouldn't but i hate to cook. im strugglin!!!

  12. Ahh thank you Mrs. Margaret! You will be surprised at how fast it actually comes off... You have a drill sergeant at home that will help keep you on track ;-) I'm soooo glad you are getting on the lap-band train he he Let me know if theirs anything I can do. This website is awesome I was on here for awhile before I decided to have my surgery researching what everyone went threw...

  13. Good news went to see Dr. Stower today looking at maybe having surgery the week of new years. WOW thought it wouldn't be until end of January. YOU LOOK GREAT hope to look half as good as you in 6 months

  15. Karen thank you so much for that! I've already had my second fill and I'm at I believe 4.6cc... I don't feel a restriction yet and I believe that's why I can eat more than I'm supposed to right now. I've started to really eat SLOW because I fill like I can fill up quicker...? I'm stuck at 181 right now and so realization has hit that I HAVE to start eating better choices or it's not going to budge! I just feel like it's really hard for me. I know everyone says this but I feel like I can't get passed the eating bad. I see so many people on here that have lost so much weight and I think to myself surely I can do it to... But how did they get passed their old eating habits? That has become my biggest struggle... Today instead of eating I got out with the kids and played in the water. That helped a bunch! I just have to get off my lazy bum and get moving and I think that will help motivate me to eat better also...
