i was banded on 8/10 is anyones moving much.. I dont see more than prob 6 pounds... is that right???? plus my belly is still swollen... my scale is nutty.. i can move it two tiles to the right and it be down six... and two tiles to the left and its down three... its crazy... how are all of you doing as far as losing?

good news.. i called my insurance today and they said the adjustments are a regular copay. which mine is 40.00 so i guess thats not too bad :sad:

wow.. that is interesting.... I did cry a few days after my surgery...because i wasnt expecting to be feeling so crappy... i thought i was just going to get up and go afterwards. So i cried because of that. Other than that im just battling what i think is my addiction. "head hunger" Im not hungry... but when i see people eat around me i want it. I guess thats why i have been fat my entire life. Its truely an addiction and im sure this will be a battle for a while.

How much soup are you guys eating(drinking) at one sitting??? I have about a half of mug and im pretty full... should be less??? or more??? im just wondering .. because today i am six days post op and yesterday i started to feel a little hungry again...

my protien intake hasnt been that good either.. it is getting better though as the days progress... im seeing... good luck

the hardeness under the incision i belive is the port... i too have been panicking about everything ..

i had my first two days post op...and then a little everyday. very little...and gross.lol TMI... GREEN. Why i dont know because i am on clears... im sure it will be a while before we are all reg again

hi joanna... be happy that you only had liquids for two days... some of us its a week or two before surgery. You will do fine. Good luck... xoxo

i can feel mine too.. its under the bigger of the five incisions. i didnt think it was going to be so obvious either

i know i am still having a slight gas issue up in my chest and shoulder. BUT ... every once in a while i am feeling pressure under my chest bone like a painful burp...(but i dont burp) and they it feels like something moves and it passes... does anyone feel pressure like this... ??/ Do you think its gas... or is the pouch emptying??? Or swelling??? Im a little nervous...

i had a hernia repair while i was banded too...and a friend of mine was banded yesterday and they also repaired a hernia on her as well.. also my surg. told me that the reason why i might be extra sore was because of the repair.

i was so scared because this gas is horrible!! i went back and he said it was normal... i thought i was having a heart attack...He said it was just the gas...honestly when i got home it was like a sigh of relief...i drank some broth...and i slept and feel good. He said... see you in four weeks... (im like waaaaaaTTT) oh well.. i guess this is a good sign..

what the hell!!! i have only had one in my life after i gave birth to my daughter... do you think its from the meds? i got monistat lastnight.. ijust cant belive this!!!

i want to scratch my crotch with a knife..LOL ugh!!!! i went to the dr and he told me to get the acidophillus pills and the vaginal suppositories... YUCK
