My final outcome was to have my gall bladder removed. They said that my gall bladder was not functioning. I had it removed about a week later. It wasn't bad. I felt normal after about 3 days. I hope that you feel better soon. I know gall bladder attacks are awful. Keep us posted.

I had the test done a few years ago. If you are having gall bladder problems, the test will make you feel you feel sick. It brought on my symptoms, and I almost puked. It really feels pretty bad at that part of the test. The rest is very uneventful. You have to lay there for quite a while during the test. I hope that you get to the bottom of whatever is bothering you.

Susan, I think that is great.

Work?!?! I scoff at that. Ok, well not really. I had better get up and do my work too. It would be my luck that my supervisor will walk up while I am trying to catch up on all of the posts.:smile2:

I tell you what, I don't sign on here for a few days and come back to pages and pages. There is no way I can say something about every post. Ebony, Donna, Kat, Susan-great NSVs! luluc-I like to look at horses (in books:laugh:). plain-I was thinking Joey from Friends. How you doing? Sorry for anyone that I missed! Have a wonderful day! I am going to get coffee!

Ok, really bad admission. I started reading by sneaking my mom's Harlequin romances. My only child like book was Dear God, It's Me Margaret. My mom bought that one when it was time for me to possibly start my monthly. It has been pure smut since then. I also don't buy them. I just go to my mom's house with a couple of bags. I can go at any time and get 2 bags full of books. She spends $60-$70 a week on books.

That was me too. I was slim and could eat everything until I turned 25. As I got closer to 30, I got bigger and bigger.

Me too!

PJTP- Small NSV...I was able to buy very cute, non-plus size undies today (and they fit)! Of course, it just points out that I have completely lost any rear end that I had.

(((hugs))) BBK.

Ha! I don't think you're talking about romance. You're talking about romance.
-
That is me! I don't read anything educational (unless you count romance as education).

5 in the morning and the house is quiet. What a perfect time of day. It won't last long, but for now...This is the life.

Who would have ever thought that we would agree. I don't like Larry either. Mark this date down. It may never happen again.

Too much restriction and no fill!
*slim* replied to Jess1982c's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
The reason for restriction after surgery with no fill is usually swelling. The doctors manipulate the stomach to get the band in place. As the swelling goes down, your restriction will also go down. Also, as the swelling goes down, your hunger will also come back. It does get better over time. -
Question about liquid diets
*slim* replied to blondie13654's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
While on my completely liquid diet, my stools were loose. My doctor actually told me to expect since liquid in = liquid out. I am sure that there are exceptions to that, but in any case be prepared. They wanted to make sure that I didn't think I had some type of stomach bug when it hit. Hopefully you will be one of the lucky ones that it doesn't happen to. -
Fanny, I am so glad that you okay. Accidents are always scary to me. My heart dropped just reading about yours.

He isn't funny to me. I don't know why. Then again, my DH said I don't know what funny is. I love me some Bill Engvall stand-up though. That is what I am watching right now as I get dressed. 15 Degress Off Cool is some funny stuff first thing in the morning.

Please, tell all about the crush. I must live through your tales.

Memorial Hospital Weight Loss Center in Chattanooga
*slim* replied to SMAJORS's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
You might check with your doctor to see if they can give you a list of known doctors that take their patients. I wish you the best of luck getting a doctor in the states. -
I have to confess that I have eaten 5 oatmeal cookies today. Not all at once, but still... Man I cannot bring those back into the house.

I am glad that you got some relief.
