That is great! I am so glad that you are doing so well. Enjoy that non-soup next week!
-
I am so sorry to hear about your surgery. I hope everything heals properly and fast.

Ok, I must have imagined the story because after doing a search, I can't find it. I thought for sure that I saw she had that many implanted. Either way, it is still just so wrong.
-
One of the stories that I read on cnn.com said that they implanted al 8. My understanding was she had 8 embryos left and implanted them all. I will try to find the story. If I can, I will post the link.

The next step will be a visit on Ellen or Rachel Ray where they will give her a boat load of stuff. Vans, strollers, clothes, and a house. You know that they have done it for so many of the multiple births. I can't stand it. The fact that she was able to have 6 children through IVF is strange enough, but for them to allow her to impant 8 more is pure insanity.

I wish I had known how you felt about these. I just threw away 4 cases (fruit punch and orange) of these that I would have gladly sent your way. I could not stomach the taste of them. I tried to mix them. I tried to drink it in shots. I just couldn't do it. *shudder* -
It is so exciting. I was starting to look very sloppy in my size 22 work pants. I went shopping this weekend and bought size 16 pants! It is so exciting! I didn't even think I could wear them. I was just trying them on to see how far I had to go to fit them. They are actually a little big! This is such as exciting time in our lives. It makes it all worth while when you start to see results.

Starting the holiday detox early, anyone wanna join me?

Your DH sounds like my DH. He has to have his chips. I have to buy the 50 count multi-flavored boxes. I don't put them in the kitchen so that I won't grab a bag. I like the crunchy jalapeno cheddar Cheetos. I didn't buy any. I would have tried to eat my weight in them. :w00t: -
That's probably the reason my DH won't go with me. I will look frumpy compared to him and make him look bad.:w00t: He hasn't actually said that, but that is my "fat girl" brain thinking for him.

Cheetos need to be their own food group. That was something else I started eating once I had the cake. I have now gotten them all out of the house. Good luck to us all! -
That makes a lot of sense. I should do that. I bought the fat free the one time I bought it at Fresh Market. I didn't notice it was fat free until I got home. I will have to go buy some for work this week. I have been having a really hard time coming up with something to eat at lunch. Going home everyday so that in case I have to puke, doesn't work.

I wasn't watching. I watched several shows I had recorded on my DVR. Then, being the boring person that I am, I went to bed early.:w00t:

I have had Greek yogurt a few times. The taste is pretty good, but the thickness is off putting. What kind do you buy? Also, where do you go to get it? I have seen it at Walmart, but the brand there didn't taste as good as one that I got at Fresh Market. I was thinking of going to Greenlife (the health food/organic type store) to see what they offer.

I am going to start again. I started going a little crazy this past few weeks. It started with a taste of cake. I obviously cannot just taste the cake. I haven't gained any weight, but I also haven't lost any in 2 weeks. It is time to start over (again ;0P). Thanks for bumping this back up to the top. I needed to see it again. -
Thank you. I was so excited. I have to say that I am like you. I won't go to the gym alone. The one person that would go with me, isn't really old enough to work out on the equipment (my 11 year old son). My DH wants us to join a gym, but he won't go with me.

To answer your question, I have been using a protein powder and making my own shakes. I use a vanilla powder with fat free milk. I then mix in fat free/sugar free pudding powder to mask the protein taste. There is a thread under food and nutrition that has 200 or so recipes for protein shakes. Some of them sound really good. I have only tried one that was peanut butter/chocolate. It was really tasty. If you do a search on this forum, you can find it.

That is exactly how I feel. I gave my remaining cases to a cousin that is planning to have the surgery this year. The thought of drinking another glucerna makes me shudder.

That is great that you were able to get that small fill. I understand what you are talking about with the bad eating from the past. We are on the good road now. I think it is great that we are walking this journey together. We can do this. You keep up the good work.
-
That is what I am going through right now. I had my 4th fill on 01/19. I was really tight that week. Now, some mornings, my water slows going down. Other days, I feel like I could eat my way through pounds of food. I know that even on the loose days, I am eating way less, but I just don't know if I should try to get another fill or wait it out. Anyway, all of that to say you are not alone feeling this way.

Debbie, you have reason to be excited. I never thought pervert at all. I am so very happy for you. This is so exciting. Each new phase is special. Enjoy this time. You deserve it!

woohoo! I am so happy for you! Don't apologize for the font. You have a RIGHT to be proud of that number! Keep it up!
