Teri, I am so glad that everything is good with the band. I am also glad that you are getting some medicine for the depression. Hopefully, the back pain and hip pain will go away with the other medication that you were given. Keep us posted. -
Everyone is going to facebook! Don't go! I don't facebook... I miss you all when you are gone! (ok, I know that sounds whiny, but...)
-
Wow, I did not realize I had missed so much this morning. Susan, you are a strong woman. You have already proven that many times over. You both have the love for each other to work on things. I wish you both the best. DH and I have separate accounts. We did the joint account thing once. That was enough for both of us.

Hey!!!!!!! I am sorry you have a headache, but wow, so great to see you!
-
Well, I would go to bed that early if I wasn't still at work. I am old at heart since I do go to bed early most nights (around 9pm). Also, I think one should always end one relationship before embarking on another IMO. I was cheated on in a previous relationship, and it hurts. If that makes me old fashioned...oh well.

Teri, I am so sorry that you are going through so much. I hope all goes well with the doctor tomorrow. I also hope that you are able to get some relief from your depression. If you have to, get some medical help with it. There is no shame in taking medicine for depression. I hope that you are better soon. -

:lol:I knew my size 24 body did weigh anywhere near the 95 lbs the scale said.:huh2: I didn't want to move it to flat ground to see what I really weighed.
-
Good luck with that! Why do I have to read the other replies to realize that I missed something. I don't know how I miss entire posts.
-
Also Beth, do you have it on a flat surface? If it is on carpet, it won't take an accurate reading.
-
:huh2: I recently went through this with my digital scale. I was ok with it as long as the weight change was in my favor. When it started going up, I changed the batteries fast!

Congrats on your weight loss. To start a new thread, you go to the part of the forum you want to be in (i.e. post op, food & nutrition, etc...) and click on the button on the top left that says "new thread".

I haven't heard from Teri. I can only hope that she didn't have to have more surgery. I know that you are a busy woman. I am so glad that you are doing well (even if the weight loss has slowed). I am sure that you are building more muscle. I have been doing pretty good. I am doing ok with my eating since my last fill, but I am struggling to find an exercise program that I can/will stick to. I have been working on an exercise bike. I got that so that I would have no excuse for not exercising at least at home. I am doing it, but it is very slow going. Thankfully, my DS is trying to keep me honest. Anyway, you know that you have my support whenever you need it. I am looking up to you to be my inspiration right now. You keep doing the awesome job that you have been. By they way, there are no stupid mistakes. Just new learning experiences. You take care, too. -
I really feel for those babies. Unless her bankroll off of them(the babies) was really huge, she isn't going to be able to afford the care for those children. It is really tragic.

How the heck did I miss that? Sorry...but the doggy's so cute. *said in very whiny, pouty voice*
-
Isn't it easier to ask forgiveness than permission? Bring the dog home, then "make it up" to DH. ;0p
-
How cute! How can he say no to such a cute face?
-
How could she NOT know that she couldn't afford 14 children? What kind of lala land was this woman living? Has she been tested for drugs because this sure seems like she was in some type of drug induced delusions.

Ok, I can't access video content from work but there is a link on cnn.com for a video that says octotwat admitted that welfare was her plan. Someone please watch it and tell me what she said. Please?!?!?

G4E, I don't know how I missed your post. I hope you find something soon.

trouble with chicken?
*slim* replied to JENNIFER7375's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I made this for the whole family (DH and preteen son). I had 6 chicken breast tenderloins and 3 skinless chicken thighs. I put an entire jar of Sam's Choice salsa over it all and cooked it all day while I was at work. I made some spanish rice for the family which they put the remaining sauce onto. I need to mention that this isn't my recipe (in case the person that did make it sees this). I found it here in the food and nutrition section of the forum. -
I have to be truthful and say I don't really iron either. I throw most stuff back into the dryer. I will iron dress shirts, but I where I uniform to work. The uniform pants come out of the dryer with the crease intact. I just hang them up right out of the dryer. I have only recently started making DS hang his own clothes, so they are a tad more wrinkled, but he seems to like them that way. I don't even think about DH clothes. My iron gets used maybe 1 time a week. Less if I can help it.
