    :tt1: Good luck with that. You are going to need it. I am childless this weekend. This is so odd. DS spent the night with a school friend. Today they decided to make it a weekend. I miss him, but I know I have to let him grow up.

    Not a mental image I needed before bed! Ok, I so agree with you about her restaurant. I have seen her make many gooey butter cakes. I have never tasted one. Based on what you have said, I don't think I should. I would completely stop losing weight. See, yet another reason for me to never taste gooey butter cake!

    That is the reason I wanted to know about my fill. If I ever have to go to another doctor, I couldn't tell them anything other than I have a band with some fill in it. That is what my doc's office says. They don't want us fixated on the amount of fill or comparing with other patients. I can understand that, but I would like to know for myself.

  20. I have found that I can eat some leftover meat (like steak) if I don't reheat it (let it come to room temp), other meats like pork or chicken breast, I can't get them down no matter what I do if it is left over.

    I saw it yesterday. I got tears in my eyes listening to her. Heartfire, I am so sorry that you had such a terrible time. I am glad that he was able to get you feeling better. I feel for the nurse because she really screwed up. I hope everything turns out ok.

    That is so great CC! I know you all will be glad when he is out of the hospital and doing well on his own. It does drive me crazy. I would really like to know just for my own info. They are so determined to not have patients discussing how much they have to compare, that they go overboard with the hoarding of info. It chaps my cheeks.
  23. B-1 oz pepper cheese, 1 slice bacon, coffee w/splenda L-lean cuisine shrimp stir fry D-cornbread dressing, squash, mashed sweet potato S-minature reese's egg, minature snickers I'm up 3 pounds since last week. I know it is my eating habits. I have to work on that.

    Well, I had my doctor's appointment too. I am up 3 pounds since last week (down 4 from my previous appointment in March). They said I was eating a little too much so they scheduled a fill (they wouldn't give it to me today to get more money out of me). I will go back next week for a tweak. They said I am close to having 5 cc in my band (they won't tell me exactly how much). I guess we shall see what happens. Mac-I think you should go for it. I know you can do it. Ebony & Glouc-I miss food too. Especially when I am upset. That was my sedative. Now I am having to deal with emotions that I don't know how to cope with. I know I need to learn new coping mechanisms, but I haven't done it. Beth & Ebony-Love Wolverine! I am not truly an X-Men fan from the comics, but I love Hugh Jackman (even if he is short). He gets that body into awesome shape! HeatherO-I think you are right. If it is repackaged DS does like the Easter gifts. He enjoyed the candy that he got as long as it wasn't in a basket. I hope that I didn't miss anyone. If I did, charge it to my head and not my heart!
