I know your post was to someone else, but it seemed like you were talking to me with this. I am currently going through this in my marriage. I keep trying to see whatever it was that made me get married (other than stupidity). I can't find it. We argue constantly. Don't get me wrong. He loves my weightloss. He even seems to be trying to act better because he seems to realize that I don't have to "settle" for him anymore. I haven't made an attempt to end the marriage, but the thought has crossed my mind more than once. I am hoping that some redeeming quality of his will come forward to give me reason to stay.

G4E, you and your family have my prayers.

With my current fill level, I don't have any food intolerances. I can (and unfortunately have on occasion) eat pizza, pasta, bread (at least toasted) and rice. I have made sure that when I ate pasta, it was whole wheat. But, I haven't had problems with anything in weeks. Heck, I ate waffles the other day. I guess it's obvious that the sinuses aren't bothering me anymore. I am calling on Tuesday to reschedule. I really wish I had rescheduled when I canceled the other appointment, but Tiffany told me to wait.

I admit it. I haven't been exercising. I have been feeling like such a loser (and not in a good way). I need a fill. I was supposed to have it Thursday, but my sinuses have been in awful shape. I was scared to get a fill with that going on. I have gained and lost the same 5 pounds for the past month. I am so frustrated that it is beyond belief. I know that the band is a tool. I know I have to work at it, but dang, I would like to feel like I am not on a diet for at least once!

I don't know punkster. That was the reason that I scheduled another fill, but now (I think because of sinuses) I feel pretty tight. I had been able to eat every thing you mentioned. I say (just my opinion of course)wait until your appointment. It is just a few weeks away. That will give you time to see if this adjustment kicks in.

They are not very aggressive with the first few fills. They said that they give you small fills to get you used to having a band. Otherwise, you would be sick a lot if they were more aggressive. That is what Tiffany told me after my first two fills. They don't try to give you much until you have your third fill. I know it is frustrating, but it will hopefully get better for you soon.

I have tried that. It does help sometimes. Carrie, I hope this fill does great for you.

I get up that early to have my quiet time before waking up DH and DS. I get up at that time every morning. Of course, I am on eastern time so it's really only 5 when I get up.
-
Thanks Carrie. That does make me feel better about it. I have had a scratchy throat with the sinus junk for the last few days. It just seems to have gotten worse the last day or so. I am going to try to find some medicine to get it cleared up.

Well, as much as I hated to do it, I canceled my fill for tomorrow. I am having some major sinus drainage issues that are clogging my pouch. **gross** I PB'd last night on my dinner and again this morning.

Morning! There is no way I can catch up on every post since I last posted. I will simply say I am feeling for those of you with troubles, and celebrating with those of you with victories!

Just take the liver diet one day at a time. The first few days are brutal, but after say day 3, I wasn't hungry anymore. Just remember to stick with the plan. Good luck to you!
-
I have my fingers crossed for you! I can understand the need to get away from the boards. I am glad to see you back though! Keep us posted on how things go with your fill. I have one on Thursday that can't come soon enough. This will be my 7th fill. I feel them for about 2 weeks then back to bandster hell. I completely understand how you feel. Just remember, you are not alone.

I have been feeling like such a loser and have been eating accordingly. I won't even bother with the details. today- B-coffee w/splenda, blueberry yogurt L- 1/2 low carb slim fast (seemed a tad thick after sitting *shuddering*) D-.5 c warm asian slaw, .25 c fried rice, 1 egg roll

That is the best thing to do. I just keep thinking since you have restriction now, you might come out too tight again. I would hate for you to go through that. Keep us posted on what they say.

Hi Debbie! You never took more than you gave. When you gave/give, it is from the heart. It means so much more that way. You are awesome! Your journey has continued to inspire. We will continue to be there for each other, whether that be online or just in spirit. Hugs to you too!

Cancel it for now. You can always schedule it again later. There is no point messing with what is working for you.
-
They make you wait a month between your first 3 fills. After that you can go whenever you feel you need it.
-
Thanks punkster. I will keep you posted.

I am so jealous!
