Wal-Mart sell 100 calorie packs of Emerald Cocoa Roasted Almonds. They are really good. If you have a Sam's Club near you, they sell a large container of the almonds.

I haven't PB'd. I guess I am just being overly anxious. I am just not used to getting full on so little. I took my time with it. I know I spent about 30 minutes trying to get what I did eat down. I guess this is just better restriction than I am used to having. I have lost 3 pounds since Tuesday. I guess I just need to stop being crazy. Restriction is what I wanted. I haven't asked since that one time, how much I have in my band. I will just keep an eye on it and take my time with my eating. I am cooking some chicken in the crock pot for dinner tonight. I guess that will be my test. Punkster, I am glad that you are feeling better after your unfill. Y'all have a great Friday!

Yep! I feel better knowing I am not alone. I wasn't impressed with my house either. It was ok, but it wasn't my dream.
-
My house isn't big. It is actually a lot less of a house than I could have had if I had followed my heart and stayed in the neighborhood that we were living in before. If I had done that, there were no cheap apartments close by that MIL could later move into and wreck my life! Sorry, went off on a tangent there. I bought my house after having my offer turned down on another house. I should have kept looking further, but that finance offer was apparently burning a hole in my purse! I went from approval to signing papers within a month. I won't do it that way again.
-
Welcome back. Hopefully one of you will be a match. Surely it won't. How exactly do they test you, if you don't mind my asking? I am envious of the floors. It must be a part of homebuying. Screw up with the first house. Hopefully learn the things you want and don't want for the next one. I keep saying I won't buy another house. I don't like being responsible for fixing the crap when it breaks!
-
Oh, I know you can't have both. I don't have either in my house. I meant I was in too big of a hurry just to get a house and didn't do enough research. I was so thrilled that I had been approved for a home loan that I didn't take the time to really look into what I wanted and what the true condition of the house was. My house had been "spruced up" to make it look like it was in good shape. The cracks in the walls were fixed. Shehad carpet with extra padding covering the uneven floors. Of course, once I had signed on the dotted line, it was too late. I was just too excited about the prospect of owning my own home.

punkster-how are you after your unfill? I am rather nervous about my fill. I am pretty tight. I ate about half of a 3 oz salmon filet and a couple of bites of beans. I was completely stuffed. I am still stuffed almost 2 hours later. I guess this is what I wanted. To be full and stay full on less food. I don't think I have had 600 calories today. I can only pray that this fill doesn't "kick in" any more than it has because I won't be able to eat if it does.

My hubby is apparently a punk on that score too. He talks about all of this stuff we could do to the house, but we never do it.
-
Beth-loved the bike picture and the kitchen picture. I would love to have tile floors, but like Ebony mentioned, old house=uneven floors. There is no way I will ever be able to level this sucker. By the way, Ebony I do love your house.
-
I hope that unfil helps you punkster.
-
Morning everyone! Ebony-will be thinking of you while you are at work with the boss from heck!
-
Hopefully everything will work out fine for you punkster. I haven't ever had an unfill, but I would imagine that you would still do liquids at least the first day just in case you swell after the fill.
-
it goes to show just how little I know about braces. Thanks for the info Carrie.
-
You are better than me. :sneaky:Once I knew for sure that I was out, I would probably walk out the first time something off was said. I did that in my previous job. I will admit to being young and stupid at the time(instead the old and stupid person that I am now:wink2:).
-
Your best bet is to discuss with either your doctor or a nutritionist, all of your concerns with your health. That way, they may be able to help you come up with a meal plan that is better suited for your own personal needs.

Fish can get old very quickly. I hope the unfill helps.

I didn't know that they came in colors. It looks so funny.

So the braces are done. He is ok for now. He picked green and yellow! WTH? I was so shocked when he came out with colors.

I had to go off my pills for surgery because I am over 35. They (my GYN and PCP) were concerned about blood clots. I just decided to stay off them after surgery. I had a tubal several years ago, so I was only on them for the hormones to regulate my cycle.
-
I came off of my pills a month before surgery. I miss the regularity (sp?). I'm going to let my doc decide what to do with me.
-
I like the way you think.:wink2:
-
You are not alone in that one Carrie. I didn't get one for several months after surgery. Now they are all over the place (early, late, light, heavy). I see my GYN next month.

I understand why you are anxious. I wouldn't think they would ask to speak to your current employer (knowingly putting you in unpleasant position) if they didn't know that you pretty much had the job.
