Ok, I haven't been posting because I haven't been doing so well with the exercise. I have been wearing a pedometer at work. I have trying to make sure that I take the longest routes and taking the stairs. I have gotten to about 7000 steps a day. I know that isn't great, but I am working on it. I also ordered some new shoes that are supposed to help work your legs more while walking (skecher shape-ups). We shall see how that goes. I will post about them if they don't kill me. :confused:

re:funerals-I don't understand why people are so disrespectful to funeral processions. We had a long time family friend, he was a police officer, that died in the line of duty a few years back. I could not believe the number of people that drove through the procession (some even got into the lane with us!). I don't know if we have any laws concerning funeral processions, but I was always taught that you pull over to the side of the street out of respect and let the full process pass (no matter which side of the street you were on). We didn't have a problem with the people trying to cut through the honor guard in front of the church, but the procession was just ruined.

I am glad that your fill is doing ok. You and Carrie have been through quite a bit with your fills. I will have try those vitamins. I remember them giving me a sample of them at the pre-op class.

Wow! Your DH is very lucky to be alive. You hear about people dying in cars hitting deer, so I can only imaging how much worse that could have been! You and your DH are very blessed. Heartfire-I hope that your DDog is ok. Morning everyone!

I have been using centrum adult chewables. They are a disgusting orange. It is hard to mask the taste of vitamins.

I don't have a true recipe. I just didn't want ground beef. I took some crimini mushrooms and cut them up. I cooked them in a little olive oil with salt, pepper, onion, and cumin. Then I topped them like I would regular nachos with some lf shredded cheddar, lf sour cream, salsa, and diced avocado. I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out, but it was really good.:tongue_smilie:

Ok, I ordered my shecher shape-ups today. Thanks again for posting about them. I have been trying to up my steps at work (I walk about 7000 steps a day there) and really hope these will help shape my tush while doing it. :thumbup:

Man, you guys have been busy! There is no way I can recap on it all. I can be pretty flexible on the time frame for the TX trip as long as I know before November to request the vacation time. G4E-I am so glad that you have some relief from the pain! Tap-I don't understand why anyone would do something so stupid as cheat on something so important. That is beyond stupid and such a waste.

I really wish that the junk food was harder to eat. It doesn't make sense that the food that is good for you is harder to eat than the junk.

I understand why you are scared. I think that everything is going to turn out ok. I would think that they wouldn't even attempt to put the same amount that they did the last time, so everything should be ok. I am crossing my fingers, praying...you get the idea. I go in for my follow up on Thursday. I think my fill finally decided to really kick in this past weekend. I can still eat pretty much anything, but not nearly as much as I could eat last week.
