    Thanks for the great ideas! I think I am going to try a stir fry with veggies and mushrooms. I bought some things at the store. I already had sesame oil so I think that will work out well. Thanks again!

    Glouc-that is awesome about DD! :thumbup:I had noticed the neck darkening on myself when an endocrinoglist (sp?) told me what it meant. That is when they put me on diabetic medicines to halt the progress (that is also when I started looking into the lapband). Congrats!:wub: So silly.:mad2: You too.:wub: :wub: I don't know, but I know that you posting it put it into my head. Not me.:glare: Which is why I won't FB. I have enough addictions without adding to them.

    I am right there with you on the personal space. I have a few coworkers that don't understand the concept. I miss our PJTP'ers too. I can't do facebook. It is just too much more to do. I had better get up and get my brat together. Morning!

    What type of dish did you use the noodles for? That has been part of my problem. I haven't been able to decide what to do with the. You know, I hadn't even given a thought to making my own nuggets without breading. I will being buying some chicken today.

    Eating Before a Fill

    Every doctor has different ideas for what is acceptable before a fill. Your best bet is to call your doctor. It would be awful to get there only to be told you couldn't get your fill because his office requires you to do something different. Just as info, my doc requires no food 4 hours before a fill (he schedules them all in the afternoon so you can eat breakfast), and clear liquids after.

    I just purchased some of the noodles from Greenlife grocery this past weekend. I haven't tried them yet. Luluc told me to make sure rinse them really well before cooking them. I had a fill Tuesday, so I may try them this weekend. I did find that website that you pointed out for the naked nuggets. I was not able to find anywhere local that sold them though. I haven't decided if I want to order some online. I had just ordered the powdered peanut butter when I saw the site for the naked nuggets. I may order some just to see if they are good.

    Glouc-I am not a very touchy, feelly person myself. I think you did the right thing. The boss just took it too far. Maybe because the boss thought you might sue? Either way, you couldn't have known that the boss would react that way. re the b.c. thread:I don't know that I would have posed the question at all, much less taking the answer as the gospel truth. Sure I can ask everyone opinions, but when it comes to something like that, why not call your doctor? That's what they get paid the big bucks for.

  17. My signal is this little almost burp. When that happens, I shouldn't eat any more. I don't get stuck, but I get really uncomfortable if I eat past that signal.

    Sometimes, things just happen. They don't have to be our fault. I know that is easier for me to say, but you cannot live in fear of it. You cannot let yourself get into the thought process that you did something wrong. You did right by calling the office and getting something done. I hope you start feeling better soon.
  20. I bought one RTD muscle milk today. I bought the powder before, but I wasn't able to get the powder right. I love my jiff too. I will just eat a spoon when I want something sweet. Unfortunately, that happens too often for the amount of calories in it.:bored: I am hoping that I really like the powdered enough to keep buying it. Today- B-coffee w/stevia, strawberry yogurt, bacon S-string cheese L-McCafe mocha (on liquids after adjustment) D-warm V-8 juice
  21. Ok, I ordered the plain and the chocolate. I am not sure why I bought the chocolate, but what the heck. I figured I would eventually use it in shakes or something.
  22. I checked their website too. They don't carry it anywhere close to me. I had checked amazon too. I really think I will go ahead and order some for myself. I really like peanut butter, but I don't like all of the calories.
  23. Which site did you purchase your peanut butter from? I am having a fill today. I am hoping to get back to doing protein drinks. I did better losing when I did, but I had such a difficult time finding a drink I could stomach without loading it full of peanut butter (lots of added calories and fat).
  24. That powdered peanut butter does sound like a good idea. Peanut butter seems the only thing I can put into a protein shake to make me drink it. Defeats the purpose if the protein drink has 500 calories in it. Today- B-yoplait strawberry yogurt L-leftover zucchini dish from yesterday (you were right luluc-it was better) D-4 oz meatloaf, .3 cup mashed potatoes, half of cornbread muffin (much needed fill tomorrow)

    Kat-glad that you had a fun, safe trip. That sounds like fun, but I am terrified of motorcyles (like everything else). Lu-glad you were able to get the unfill. Hopefully that will clear up any trouble. That is why I am scared of getting my fill tomorrow. I am not having trouble getting anything down at this point. I have no reflux or night coughing. I can eat pretty much anything (including bread). I know I need the fill, but am still scared of being too tight. Another girl on this board that uses the same doctor that I do had to have emergency surgery due to a slip Friday. That has thrown me for a loop as far as my fear. It doesn't take much. re running:I thought I liked it as a kid, but I had a lot less of me back then. No tube socks hanging from my chest area to hit me in the face back then either. I haven't found anything that makes me want to keep doing it.
