Hot dog! I just did it! I know that sounds pathetic, but my mother wasn't into cleaning/folding/hanging... She would rather go buy new than clean. Don't get me wrong, she does wash clothes, but they aren't put away. She sends most of her clothes to the cleaners just to avoid having to deal with it.

Ok, I am being serious here. I was never shown the correct way to fold a shirt. I fold towels beautifully but have always hated the way the shirts turned out. Thank you for posting that. Now if you would just post some pictures so I know that what I am picturing in my head is what you just said.

I hope the diets helps you. I had my gall bladder out only to find out that wasn't what was causing all of my problems. I later found out that I have IBS (or so they say). I have found that IBS just really means that they can't figure out anything else that is wrong, so lets call it IBS! I will admit that I don't have as many problems now that I have changed my diet. There are still some foods that trigger issues for me, but they don't cause trouble nearly as much as they used to.

I remember typewriters! I took typing in junior high school. DS had no idea what I was talking about when I mentioned a typewriter. I don't know why there aren't cent signs on keyboards.

That is so sad about your dog Luluc. Though I am scared of dogs, I can still understand how loved they are. My family loves to tell me that I had a puppy as a child. They also told me that he was run over in front of our house. I am really glad that I don't remember it.

Today- B-coffee w/chocolate torani syrup L-toasted whole wheat sandwich thins w/jam D-zuc w/sun dried tomatoes, cannelini beans, mushrooms (yummy!)

Me too Kat! I have no doubt that you will do great with the surgery. I hope that your back is better soon.
-
I hope you feel better soon. Is it just the lack of sleep or are you in pain too?

First question from DH this afternoon was if I was going to make more drinks. I forgot I promised to work tonight. Hopefully I will just sit on the phone until they tell me I can go home. I have to be there at 4 a.m. (3 central) so no drinks for me.:crying: I just did not realize that there were places in the US with such bad weather all year long! Wish I could say the same, but I was up at 5 like clockwork!

I spoke too soon. As soon as I hit "submit" DH came into the bedroom claiming to be hungover. Now I know I drank more than he did last night, but he is the one hungover? Sounds like paradise. I'll be there in about 13 hours.
-
Not bad actually. I haven't been out of bed yet. I am going to get up and make my coffee. DH and DS are both up and about but left me alone for a change.

Drunkards? Where?

You had lots of excitement Tap. So sorry about the continuous rain though. Maybe the sun will shine for you later today?
-
Ok punkster, are you up very early or did you stay up very late?
-
Please tell me you beat up the friend. I am so happy for you. I should never have tasted the mojito. That sucker is too good! Take my family....please! I'll add it for you. You can do it! Awww! I want the hotties! (said while throwing temper tantrum) Glad to see I wasn't the only one drunk posting tonight. I blame Lulu too.

PJTP-so I obviously live in the backwoods. I have gone to 2 different stores in my area and can't find polenta. Don't get me wrong, I know I could use grits as a sub, but I would like to see a package that actually says polenta. I think I will try the Fresh Market here. I can get my Greek yogurt there too (since the Wally Jr near my house doesn't sell it). I want the polenta with parm. Do you put shallots or anything like that in it?
-
Darn it, I am out of drink....I should have bought more lime and mint... Then again, I don't know if I could handle anymore. I have already retyped this crap twice.

I laughed my butt off at both the chicken and the ghetto threads. I immediately thought the pink chick had created another persona when the person popped up defending pinky. Too funny. KC, I go for sweeter drinks myself. I used to only drink wine coolers (how dorky am I?) but have been trying different things after reading things online. I have expanded my horizons so much in the last few months (especially after reading things from you and luluc). I never realized just how hard it is to spell correctly when you have had a drink...or two.

What time is dinner?

PJTP-I really like mojitos. mmmmmm. DH would probably like a mojito mix instead of fresh. He doesn't like the mint leaves (I think that makes the drink), but likes the taste. Of course, a mix won't taste the same I am sure. I will never admit that it has stevia in it since he claims he can always tell when there are artificial sweetners (yeah right).
-
today- B-coffee w/sf torani chocolate syrup, vienna sausages (too much fat) L-grilled chicken leg and thigh, mashed potatoes D-baked chicken nuggets, mojito(s?)....
-
List made, heading to the store now (thankfully I already have stevia). Be back soon!

I agree with Carrie. Have that sucker taken out. The surgery was much easier (to me) than the band surgery (and the band surgery was a breeze to me). I was up and at 'em within a few days. I had the same number of incisions plus one in the belly button.

I am glad that you are doing better. Stop looking at Food Network. They are evil.:frown:
