I had been trying to place that look. :crying:

I did apple juice with Miralax in it.

Posting to say that I really like Susan's new picture.
-
hmmmm. Nope, still broke. This is completely off topic, but congrats on the end of your 6 month visits.

Hi. I just had my surgery done by Dr. Ponce on 09/25. I have to say, he is good at his job. I didn't even feel like I had surgery on the day of surgery. Good luck with everything and keep us posted. Since you are self-pay, it shouldn't be hard to get a surgery date.
-
How wonderful! Heck, I would post it in every thread on every forum....
-
You spoke too soon.

Will I ever be able to lay down in my bed again?

Yippee! I haven't lost in about a month and then...

Congrats on the weight loss! At this point, I would like to have any type of weigh loss that is not associated with my pre-op diet. -
There it goes again. Just as info, I promise I didn't choose such a small font (that is, if you can see it by the time I post this reply).

Ok, so if it is a hallucination, it is a mass hallucination :-)
-
Well, I did see black text. What is going on? Is my lack of nutrition causing some major hallucinations? Or is something strange happening on the forum?
-
And all I see is black text.
-
I am so sorry that you are having so much trouble. I hope that they are able to figure it out, and get you all better. Keep us posted on what is going on. I will say a prayer for you.

:out:Ok, this is making me think that I am going nuts. Did you see very tiny red letters on my other post? Of course, I don't now, but....
-
Ok, that was weird. I was posting and it showed up another color. Or am I hallucinating?
-
I lost my color and my font. When I look at my options, they are still set the way that I set them, but not working at all.
-
How awesome for you! I am POSITIVE I need to do South Beach!
-
Me too.
-
Posting just to say all of your replies are just normal sized now. None of the new options appear to be working at the moment.
-
Apparently it is no longer working. All of my changes are gone. Was it causing too many problems, Alex?

HELP! When can I sleep 'normal' again?
*slim* replied to Marcie1997's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Right up to your sleeping on night 10, you could have been describing me. I am on day 10 and tried to sleep in my bed last night. I cannot sleep on my back because of this feeling of pulling something. Nor can I sleep on my side for the same reasons. I haven't even attempted to turn onto my tummy. When I tried to get up from that position...OMG that hurt! I had to slide around like a VERY pregnant woman to get up without feeling like I was tearing my port out of place. I know it will get better for all of us, but my goodness I wish that I knew when. I don't even HAVE a recliner. Instead I have this really uncomfortable queen Anne type chair with an oversized ottoman from another chair. That other chair would have been perfect for sleeping but it is so huge that we couldn't move it to a room big enough for both the chair and ottoman. -
Zyrtec is over the counter. It took about a day of taking them both for me to be close to normal. You only have to take the Zyrtec once a day and then I took the Benadryl every 4 hours. I also drank a lot of water to help flush the medicine out of my system (I don't know if that actually did anything or not, but it helped to ease my mind). I got the idea from a friend that had really bad hives (they never could determine the cause). She went to an allergist that actually had her taking a combination of 4 different allergy meds (they all worked differently) to calm her system. As long as she took them all, her hives stayed gone. When taking just the Benadryl didn't help me, I decided to add the Zyrtec. I hope you feel better soon.

I am glad that you are feeling better. I am feeling pretty normal myself. I still have shoulder gas discomfort. I can get up from any sitting position without pain, but cannot get up from laying on my back or side in the bed (go figure). I guess we will continue to make these baby steps until one day, we can't even remember what the time after surgery felt like (I hope anyway).
