Yes, please post a link. Inquiring minds would like to know. Hi everyone! I hope that everyone is having a wonderful weekend.
-

I think we should all look at ourselves as successes. I cannot fathom how much weight I would have gained had I not gotten my band. I haven't lost as much weight as I would have liked, but I am still so proud of myself. I think we have all accomplished so much. We still have the potential for even more greatness!
-
Ebony-(((((hugs))))) I have no words of wisdom. I think the other ladies have hit on some very good points. We will be there for you no matter what you decide.

Georgia Girl-sorry to hear about your FIL. I hope he is better soon. I don't get it, breakfast doesn't want to go down, but I am starving this evening. So strange. Today- B-coffee w/torani syrup (no food) L-KFC chicken strips, mashed potatoes (I am really killing myself with the carbs this week) D1-crab salad (crab, green peas, celery, red onion) D2-bowl rice crispies w/milk I don't think I could handle a fill. I am going to have to get the carbs in order. Eating them is causing me to crave them even more.

Ebony-If wearing the older shoes make your legs hurt, you should get rid of them. I have had to do that before. What type of running shoes did you get?

Good evening folks! How is everyone doing? Heartfire-I love the fire truck in your avi. How cute? I completely understand where you are coming from with asking first. I cannot fathom just giving someone else's child anything without talking to the parents. You just never know what you are dealing with (allergies, parents ready to beat you up...). My family was really bad when DS was little. They would give him all manner of things when I wasn't around. One day I came in to him sucking on a chicken leg bone. He wasn't even one! One of my older aunts decided it would be good for him since he was teething. Of course, it did help in some ways because DS is fearless when it comes to food (unless it has cheese on it). He eats everything! He actually has gotten his dad to be a little more open to foods because his dad figures if DS eats it, it must be ok. It is too funny. KC-glad to know your mouth is doing better. I went and read the last fight between HH and the other person. He was baited into that one. She for sure knew which of his buttons to push. Beth-Sorry to hear about DH being in more pain than expected. Hopefully that will clear up as he heals. The situation with the book is awful! Why do people have to try to get over on other people? I hope that you are able to get your money back quickly. I haven't really had to deal with the dog situation. Well, other than the two days that I had a puppy here for DS. It did get a tummy upset and puked on my kitchen floor. Of course, the woman that is scared of dogs got to clean it up. **gross**

I would definately try something like mucinex (like punkster mentioned) to clear up the drainage. I have found that any time I am having major sinus drainage, I have trouble getting any cold liquid down. It just sits on top of the drainage. The warm liquid helps to push the gunk through the pouch to allow your liquids to get through. Otherwise, your liquids basically just hit that mass and comes right back up. You also may be taking too big of a swig. I can't take big gulps anymore. I don't have to sip, but big swallows never go down easy. I hope you feel better soon. Corliss-you hit the nail on the head about the sleeve and RnY. I also completely agree with you about our inability to lose weight without assistance. I hope this band stays with you with no problems.

I hope she enjoys the books. Mine too! Nope. Luluc is so smart. I wondered the same thing! It must have been because that account is now suspended.

Morning all. Heartfire-I am glad that you will get to take your trip. I completely understand where you are coming from on that one. I hope that you have an awesome trip! (don't pack the scale) TPG-I am really sorry about your surgery, but I am sure this is a blessing is disguise. re scale:I am totally addicted to my scale. I weigh every morning and almost every time I go into my bathroom after that. Beth-how is DH doing today? KC-How are you feeling? Lu-what are you cooking up today? Ebony-How is the neck? Krtork-that sounds like my worst nightmare. Dealing with emotional teenaged girls? Scary. Plain-you crack me up. You scare me, but you really crack me up. re the pouch test-I have done it a couple of times. I like it ok, but I can never seem to make it past day two. I have not completely absorbed how to NOT give in to my carb cravings, so I never get over them completely.

Ok, stop teasing. Give us the entire story behind this. By the way, you look awesome in your avi.

B-coffee w/torani syrup, cottage cheese w/sf strawberry preserves L-chicken nuggets D-raisin bran (I am struggling to get it down due to sinus issues)
-
PJTP-I finally have a NSV! I bought (and fit into) size 14 pants! They are khaki Dickie pants. They are a little snug on the thighs, but I have room in the waist! Holy crap!
-
I have talked to a couple of people that have them and love them. I can never say never about not getting one, but it does scare me.
-
I would be terrified too. That is why I didn't get RnY. The thought of not being able to change things if I needed to scared the crap out of me.
-
So GBI is now offering the sleeve? Wow.
-
I was starving and bad yesterday- B-coffee w/torani syrup, cottage cheese w/mandarin oranges L-chicken nuggets, 2 oreos D-1 slice pepperoni pizza & toppings off 2nd slice S-chips and dip I was starving all day. I am starving now. WTH???
-
I would still say that it is probably water weight or something similar. Our weight fluctuates quite a bit just based on what we have or haven't taken in. I understand your frustrations, but remember how far you have come. You have done an awesome job on your weight loss. You also know that we don't mind you venting. We are here for each other.
-
That's true Carrie. I hadn't thought about that.
-
I hadn't seen a commercial. I need to watch for that. I haven't had an unfill (knock on wood), but they charge my insurance $450 every time I get a fill. Thankfully, I only pay $20 for my fills. Of course, that is all subject to change.
-
Beth-thinking of you and DH today while he has surgery.KC-how is the mouth? I think you mentioned you were having the other side done today? I hope all is well.Ebony-how is the neck?TPG-how is the blood sugar?
-
I am so there. I have been 182 for the past month. I don't think I can handle a fill because at TOM I have trouble eating. I would love to drop below 180 sometime soon!
-
So after a really long post, I forgot something... Happy Bandiversary Hearfire! Good morning everyone! I miss you Tap.
-
I'm glad you survived. Crystal Light is now my beverage of choice. I drink quite a bit of it daily. I thought your pictures looked great! I vote it was the scale. Did you have it on a completely flat surface (no tile)? I know if my scale is on the edge of the tile, it says I weigh a different amount. :w00t:

I have noticed a change in how I react to some medicines. Maybe the weight loss has caused it? Either way, I am glad that you are better now. I hate that the medicine didn't help as much as it should. I was afraid that would happen. Punkster-that sucks that you have to wait on your fills. It isn't as though you are new to fills. Oh well, it will come soon enough.
