what insurance do you and your sister have? What month did you start all this? My insurance is Great west and they have been helpful so far.

Hi newday, The only way I can find out anything about whats going on with my paperwork , or should I say whats not going on with my papers is to call the insurance company directly. They are the ones who have told me I have not even been precertified yet. hazel.

Congratulations, I hope you can say the same to me soon. : ) . But, you know how after you go see the dr. the first time and then get all your dietician stuff done and physch. Cheryl says "call me and let me know when you are all done and I will get you precertified " Well I called and she never had me precertified, I do not know how long that step will take but it is just one more thing to set me back. I spoke with someone at the last meeting who started after me with the same ins., and she is has her date for the end of the month. I am jstt very frustrated with this all right now. I understand they are busy, but come on....... again congrats to you both and i hope it all works out.. hazel

My first appt. was in Nov. I have not had a second one with the dr yet. I was finished with the dietician in Dec. and the physh. in Dec. also. I have gone to all the support meetings. So I do not know what is involved with being precertified I thought the same as you "wait for a decision" yes or no. But when I spoke with a nurse at my insurance today she said I have not even been precertified yet. I did not go into it with her because she was only helping out the person who usually does it , so i told her i would speak with missy , but of course when I called she was unavailable (story of my life with those people) I left her a detailed voice mail about what I needed to have done and she has yet to call me back at all. i have left numerous messages for her and have spoken to Cheryl to no avail....sigh...

hello mel, I went to see Dr. Fiallo in Nov. and am still waiting for them just to precertify me. They are very slow with getting things done, yes i know they are busy.... and that swith me calling them weekly, just giving you the heads up to keep them on their toes. I have great west insurance. hazel

Hello, I am new to all this but i was wondering if anyone had any feed back about his office. (dr. Haag and Fiallo). So far I am not too impressed with the girls who work there, i understand they are busy but.......5 months ! i was there to see the doc in Nov. and nothing yet, not even precertified. Is this the usual for them? I get so annoyed when I see their commercial and think they can't handle what they have now and are trying to get more people. GGGRRRRRR !!!!!!! :faint:
