My name is Kat and I am a NYS Licensed Cosmetologist 😊 Wife and mother of two beautiful children; my 14 year old prince and my 5 year old princess. I have always struggled with my weight ever since JR High School. I had my son, and my pregnancy was great only gained 15 pounds…lost it weighing in at 130 pounds. My second pregnancy I gained 30 pounds and was never able to loose it. I have a history of PTSD/Depression/Anxiety, PCOS, Asthma, sciatica, and the newest one sleep Apnea🤷🏻‍♀️. With all my med history complications I ended up weighing 201 pounds with a height of 4’11”.  I was very reluctant in getting a gastric sleeve surgery, but I thought about my children and that I want to be healthy and set an example to them. I had my surgery done with Dr. Rivera at Tristate Bariatrics on August 31, 2022 and am one week out embarking on my new weight loss journey happy to share it with you all as well as hoping you can share your journey with me.
