Im lucky to have off until Jan 5th. I have read people going back to work 5 days afterward surgery. But like you, my job keeps me on my feet all the time! I was banded Wed 18th and even though I feel mentally good, I do have pain at port site (feels like muscle pull) however I get relief when I sit to rest. So, I would not be very good on my feet all day if I was back to work now. I would try to get as much time off as possible.

I agree you should let your dr. know. I was banded Wed the 17th and after 2 days liquid diet, have permission to eat mushy stuff... thinned cream of wheat, blended yogurt (all no fat/sugar) etc... I felt MUCH better getting 50 grams protein daily!!!! -

I was just banded 12/17 and like you am HUNGRY! Dr. said I am able to eat mushy after day 2. Thinned cream of wheat and protein powder in fat free milk helped a great deal today!!! I am to get 50 grams protein. (Not hard with shakes) -

Hello, My date is scheduled for Dec 17th. I am lookignt forward to reading from the earlier Dec people! It will be comforting to know others are out there C
