    December Surgery Buddies!

So loveies, week 1 post op down 7 lbs went in at 227 started my journey at 247 lbs. I find the post op liquid diet is frustrating just sipping fluids all day until go to sleep. It really does tale all day to get those fluids in. I belch alot not sure why. The past 2 mornings I've woken up extremely nauseous. Anyone else have/ had these issues. On a good note Dietician called scheduled appointment for next week to hopefully upgrade me to puree/ soft diet

    December Surgery Buddies!

December 1st, no Thanksgiving for me been on this journey over a year. Original date was September 2023, but was informed while on surgery table no go because of situs inversus so started over January this year long process, but finally received date excited 😄 😊
  9. Dont beat up on your self, this is my second time around , meaning my first attempt at surgery was halted no fault of my own just a unknown issue situs inversus, so ive been on this journey for a little over a year, went back to my 9old habits quickly, but gets better, im on my pre op diet and had a slip up nothing outrageous so just keep pushing forward i too had the second thoughts even with a week until my surgery, but i think of the health benefits in the end.

Started pre op diet Friday going well just waiting for the big day, for any tips for newbies look at my prior post alot there of what not to do under temptation,  lol 😆 😅 😀 hope everyone has a great outcome

So follow up from my care coordinator relayed to me the provider in Delaware suggested that i find a surgeon closer to North Carolina, Raleigh were i live. That sucked. THAT WAS THE SURGEON THAT INFORMED ME THAT I HAD SITUS INVERSUS. He was in Pinehurst . So im back on the hunt again. 🤪 if anyone know a surgeon that will take SURGERY Plus Benefits it would be great thanks
