so, as of now, i am not taking any vitamin supplements whatsoever, and i'm 10 days post op. my surgeon says that 4 weeks after the surgery, i'll have to do a blood test to see what i'm lacking then to suplement it. i have no issue with that, it's very rational imo, but i've never heard it be done that way in forums or YouTube videos. everyone just talks about how important it is to take the supplements, yet here am i not taking a single pill, and i'm doing well. is anyone experiencing / has experienced this same protocol?

you should be focusing on see through, clean, liquids in this phase. i think that's a general worldwide consent. i think a little cheese will be fine in the pureé stage, but watch out for the sodium on that cheese

just spoke with my surgeon today can y'all belive, that he told me i can go back to the gym after just 6 DAYS post op? sorry, there's just no way in hell i can go back to working out this early. he brought good points, i'm alive, i'm 19, and i should be moving. but maan my new stomach hasn't even healed yet! ffs. he's a great surgeon, well known here in Brazil. but as with all good professionals, you can't be good at everything all at once. my surgeon is definitely lacking some emotional intelligence 😂

my dietitian gave me 30 days of liquid diet. i know it can vary wildly between different professionals, but just looking through the internet i feel very alone in going for 30 day the liquid phase. 4 days post op. starting to have food thoughts. i'm doing my best to keep 'em away

got my VSG August 16th here in Brazil. stayed a night at the hospital then on the day after i was sent home. things are going fairly well and smoothly, it really feels like it's getting better every day! im not felling anything even resembling hunger in any way. but im still dependent on pain medication, the incisions are well regenerated but they hurt!
