Thanks for sharing this should help many make the decision that is best for them. The point being, do the research............................

You know, I debated this for a very long time also, I finally decided to have it done in the states and double the cost but I have a mountain of support if anything should go wrong, I feel extremely confident with my doctor and all the support that I have around me. Bottom line, its what do YOU want and then go get it done. I was banded in Idaho by Doc Cahan my surgery took all of 60minutes and one night stay in the hospital to check all had gone well. The success story is I am currently down 61 lbs and still losing.

Yep I aggree

Yep u r correct, Doc says it totally depends on the size of the stomach on which to use. I have the vangard. I have lost 61lbs to date and still losing have a ways to go until my goal

I drink at least 64oz of water and the doctor just told me that I need to drink more. So more it is. I think I will by stock in bathrooms because I am always in them -

And life goes on. You know what is so amazing? Just shut off the computer, you know like the knob on the TV change channels. Its that easy. And yes this is America and that is why I CHOOSE to live here. So write whatever you want say whatever you want and do whatever you want. Thats why our men and women have fought and died for these rights. God bless America.

Hey Bug, what you are saying is the exact plan that I followed . I was banded by Dr Cahan in Idaho. It is doing great beause I started real food two days ago. Its an extremely slow process, seek lots of advice from those that have gone before us, they have made the mistakes of eating what they are not supposed to and then listen to the horror stories. This has helped me so much that I have lost -61lbs thus far. I was only banded on April 17th and because of their mistakes my road to success is much simpler. If you need info as you go through this, there are many grt forums on this web site, but be careful, there are many that are just junk, you know junk in junk out. Good luck and welcome to the Gone for good club.

My family's prayers are with you and your husband, I pray that God will guide the Doctor to do what is needed and that then God will lay his healing hand on your husband and give him peace and rest through all of this. I also pray for a hedge of protection for you while this is happening and that God will give you peace and rest so that you will have a complete peace about all of this.
