Hey sounds like you are getting a lot of great advice, all I have to say is YOU are YOU and no one else, what goals YOU set are YOUR goals and no one elses. So step up to the plate get in the game and go girl go. Sounds like to me just like a manager of a team, you are going to learn about the players(i.e.all the issues) with that being said keep us informed on how your team is progressing...................................

Yep, listen to those that have gone before you, welcome to lap band land. The rumbly is a normal thing, and only two days out , wow you have some new things in store for you. My advice, read and learn what to eat and not to eat, dont try anything without first hearing how others have done. This trial and error method is a ...................and if you have a bad experience learn from it. Good luck

I dont have any info on this but just a suggestion, work the plan given by the Doc, it will come off just not as fast. This might me a safer method also.

Dear Kat: I think that advise is good if the person giving it has the right knowledge and imput and all the facts. The wrong advise given can and does goes damage that at times can not be undone. In this response that you gave, it has good things and bad things. What if the male side of the relationship just wants to see if his other to be half would help in the financial side of things and if the loans are the way to get a better education then this may be a good thing. I dont know, as I said I dont have all the facts either. One thing that has always amazed me is that just like all the shows on tv, all the talk hosts seem to have all the answers. I think not,,,,,,,,,,,

yep I know what you are talking about, I struggle with the very same issues. For me it is all about support group and this web site. I follow very strickly those that have gone before me. Todate I am down 70lbs.

yep, I know what you are talking about, I beleive in my case it is a head issue. No matter what I will not continue this type of eat eat eat. I know that I have will power. I just have to use it. Yep it is tough. But whats the alternate. I believe that you should get all the sweet stuff you take at night out of the house. Old saying" out of sight out of mind" the other saying that I like is "Junk in Junk out" Who wants Junk? This is a life change and unless you change nothing will ever be different. A christian auther writes" change is not change unless YOU change". There are a lot of support groups for eating disorders and other types of support groups. Just a suggestion.............

Houston: Here is 3x, just on crusie control, have not seen lapband beast for awile, however I did experience its control over me. It was not a very good feeling either. Got space sickness but this was due to the mission issued food I think, just ate to big of bites, the tubes are not easy to adjust. This needs to be re-thunk. Have noticed that when the lapband beast is not on my mind, then I seem to not loose weight, this is not a good thing as being to heavy is dangerous to me and those I love. So I need to step back on the right path find the beast and make it my companion. With this in mind, I know that I will once again be on the road to great discoveries. signed 3x:faint:

Had my first fill, Just follow your docs instruct and use the tool (band) dont let it use you

Follow whatever YOUR doctor tells you, He or She should know whats right.

Had my first one, it happen after I took a bite and it either was too big or not shewed enough, and yes I aggree you dont want this to happen. Follow the path of those who have gone before you,,,,,,,,,,,Listen to what they say and do it right

Yo Yoda: Good luck with the second fill. I was banded april 17,06 so far have lost 70lbs. Its been different, when I now get on a scale the slide bar goes to the lft instead of the right. May the force be with you, keep us posted on the darkside????

Nope no regrets, the only thing i regret is when someone ask me are there any regrets. Before I had the band I did the research, and I think that is what must be done. Once you have done this, how can there be regrets? you did the research and you made the choice. down 70lbs banded April 17th.

easy way to find this out is just give a call to your Doc and ask them this question. Then you will know
