Yep I aggree, some of what you read is not always good, but for the most part, this is a grt site for information. Its also a site for those who want to destroy so be careful of the information you follow. Work the plan and follow the doc's instructions and you will do very well. I know for my own issues, I have lost 76lbs thus far, banded April 17,06

Would you do it again or choose another option?
shackdog replied to BPM's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
In a mad minute, no question -
nope, I believe that you just have a surgical gown on and when they get ready to do their thing it is removed, I was put out so dont know for sure but I believe that is what took place.

Well first let me say this, giver yourself a huge pat on the back, self appraisal is the right thing, dont worry what others say or dont say, you are a success and are doing fantastic. I look at it this way, I have heard it all from those around me all my life, every comment you can imagine, and you know what, the only people they truly hurt are themselves. This took me a long time to understand but it is so true. You are doing great and they cant stand it, so when they dont acknowledge the fact they know this bothers you and this is what they are trying to do, get under your skin again without even knowing it. Stay focused and do it for one person.YOU YOU YOU

Well space doctors report that 3x is doing grt. He went through a time warp and went back another three pounds. He is now down 73lbs from when lift off took place on April the 17th. Currently he is floating in weightless limbo. This past three days have been very stressing, many issues back on planet earth with his family. 3x has noticed that issues with family cause weightless limbo or even worse, time distortion which reverts him up some pounds. Make sure that all astro members to be follow thoses that have gone before them and heed their warnings. This is not for everyone but it can be very rewarding if all training is followed, meaning listen to your flight surgeon and do what he or she tells you to do. Meet with others and discuss mission issues, this will help you to avoid the Ass--teroid bluges and the tummy growth deamons. Have a grt mission and until next radio communication----------------3x signing off........:notagree

I hope to shout,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,you are in for a huge life change and if you dont get a handle on it now before the surgery dont dont dont dont waste the money or your time. The band is a tool, you must must must use it wisely or you will still gain weight. I am down now 70lbs from when I started, I did not have the will power but this cost me 21000.00 so I will succeed. You to can do it just fight for what you really want. A new you................

Sounds inviting, but one thing I have learned in all this so far. Is that there is NO FAST FOOD ever again. Thats what got us all here that we needed to have the band, Learn to just say NO. Step on the gas when you come up to a fast food joint, Dont buy those girl scout cookies and stay away from the ice cream...............................

Its the portions that I eat and what I dont eat that help me loose the weight. Also welcome, it good to have someone new
