Why are you all on liquid diets before you get your band fitted??? We only had to fast from night before!!!! I'm down 6 stone and my husband is down 9 stone.

Hi everyone I was banded 4 years ago and lost 6 stone but unfortunately my port twisted and I couldn't get a proper fill. I recently had an operation to replace my port with a new one. It was badly damaged from them trying to get the needle into the port to give me a fill. I put back on nearly 2 stone cos I wasn't getting proper restriction. I feel like I'm starting all over again :-(

Hi I'm from Ireland  I had my band fitted 4 years ago in Belgium. It's much cheaper over there. It costs €14000 in Ireland but only €4500 in belgium. At the moment I have 7mls in my band and have hardly any restriction. Getting another fill on the 7th of june. It costs me €120 per fill

Hi guys i havent been on this site in a while. i got my band on the 27th of june 2008. had to have 4 fills before i felt any restriction. im sorted now. i have lost 3st but i have eaten alot of choc n crap over the xmas. it just goes down so easy:laugh:. just have to cut it all out now.i will be getting my next fill in february. cant wait

hi never heard of paddywagon tours but i will look them up now :laugh: dublin is great to visit but be prepared it is expensive. thunder road cafe in fleet street in dublin city centre is a great place for food and a drink. its a rock and roll type of restaurant. kids welcome. :thumbup:kilmainham jail and christchurch cathedral good places to visit. so is the history museum. lots of shopping in the city centre. jurys hotel is a lovely hotel on dame street but shop around for cheaper hotels because they all competing against each other

Happy new year to you too! Have to go home after work and clear out the kitchen. Its full of xmas crap. Didnt buy any of it. It was all given as presents, tins of biscuits, selection boxes and boxes of chocs. If they are there i will eat them :thumbs_up:

thanks i weighed myself in chemist this morning(boots scales the best) and have lost another 5 lbs since my last fill at start of dec. i couldnt believe it:smile2:

I cant wait for my 2nd fill. Hope i lose alot more weight soon.:biggrin2:

Hi all Im new to this site. got my band on 27th of june 2008. Got my first fill last week. Dont feel any restriction so far. He put in 1.5mls. Is this normal? Getting another fill in 3 weeks :confused2:

Hi i am eating everything except red meat and white bread. They are harder to digest so doc says. Its trial and error. I got my band on the 27th of june 2008 and have lost 2 stone so far. I got my fill last week and feel no restriction. Getting another fill in 3 weeks time
