Hey loves! I am getting a revision from a Sleeve to Bypass on August 29th. So a little back story on my sleeve. It was very successful the first year and after that I never went back to follow up because the nutrition program did not help me. I would sit there and cross my finger to not be called by this lady. She was so mean and literally put me down for the questions I asked. No avocados, no fruits, no turkey bacon. I got my sleeve done in January 2018. My starting weight was 272 back in 2017, surgery weight was 247, and my lowest that year was 189 which was mid July. I was working two jobs at that time which helped me maintained. Fast forward to today I am at 239. My re-gained weight was to 247. I had severe GERD, nausea, and was able to tolerate more food but always felt sick. I started working from home with no free fitness. I know...not a good excuse because I can work out at home, but working out with coworkers motivated me more. Last month I got two procedures done to see if I had a hiatal hernia: upper endoscopy and a barium swallow test. They found I had acid relux, top of my stomach was expanded, AND I had a twist mid stomach which was causing mild obstruction! My surgeon told me my sleeve definitely failed me and I am deemed a perfect candidate for the revision.
