Help i was banded in Oct 08 have lost 56lb with 28lb to go and i get on my treadmill every day for 20-30 mins but i just cant seem to loose any more i'm stuck have been the same for months now what can i do to get the loss moving again

I dont go to a gym i live in Ireland middle of nowhere it takes me an hour to get to a gym so i am doing it at home on the treadmill i do the 30 mins walking as fast as i can but i started to jog on it today i love walking am not a runner but i think its the only thing that i can do thats going to start making a difference the free weights is a good idea though will definately try them thankyou :cool: it's strange i dont know about you my clothes seem to constantly get looser but the weight is just not coming of on the scales?

Tks Flirtylass am i right i read you got your band in Sept 08 are you excercising like mad? is that how you have lost 5stone or is it just falling of you? i got my band in Oct 08 and have lost 2 and a half stone but for the last 2 weeks the scales have not moved starting to really annoy me i must stop getting on the bleeding thing every day lol any suggestions for kick starting it again because the next fill is not untill 1st thursday in march

Thanks mmm, i have lost 35lb since oct 08 but feel like i have come to a complete standstill and dont know how to get it moving again, well i do its more excercise :-( going for my 4th fill in march hopefully this will help when did you get your band ?

Hi Flirtylass, i was banded in Oct 08 with Chris and i have just been reading some of your postings god its so hard isnt it i have had 3 fills and didnt go to the last one because i tho it was at a perfect spot then 2 days after i lost most of my restriction desperate for march to roll round im living in Virginia, Cavan and read you live in Louth was really hoping to find someone to talk to

Lol, i know exactly what you mean, If they didnt give you enough of the injections where did you get the rest from your GP ? :wink2:

Oh Gould i wont tell my husband about the injections just spring that one i think. i dont think i will be able to do them myself. Thanks for talking to me i am nervous i think more so because i am going on my own, still reading all these posts does put you at ease :wink2:

Hi Kath would you say you are fit to go back to work as i am due back to work 6 days after the surgery ? i've been reading the different posts here did you get the package and do you have to inject yourself to stop your blood clotting for 10 days

Hi i am thinking about going to either Brussels or Tunisia for the band, has anyone here been abroad for theirs and can they give me any advice all the websites are so great looking its really difficult to know who to choose was looking at Cosmetica Travel for Tunisia or europesurgery for Brussels help too much info ?
