    I want to thank everyone for all the great advice and good wishes. I don't know when I'll feel like writing again. I very nervous but my family are all behind me and are there for support.

    Well it's almost hear and I don't know what to expect. I want to go out tonight and have a last meal,but no luck just liquid. August 11th at 7:30 am is the surgery, then what? Can anyone tell me what to expect after that? How will I feel? Can you feel the band or the port? Any advice on food? Sorry for the rambling. :confused2:

    I'm getting banded on Aug. 11th so I guess I'm a "AUGUST ALL STAR". I can't wait till it's over so I can stop worrying and get on with my life.

    Hey, I'm being banded August 11th. I'm a little worried about how I'll do since I'm 63. Did you have much pain and how do you feel? You sound like it was a piece of cake. I quess I souldn't say that.
