I’m sorry to hear that. Your recovery is what I was expecting for myself as well. I hope it improves quickly for you.

Sounds good! The protein count seems a little high though. It calculates to only 35g in my app. I just don’t want you being low on protein. I am going to try this recipe next week though!!

Did anyone have a shockingly easy surgery? I feel like I’ve been lied to about what to expect. I came through surgery like nothing had happened to me. No pain. No nausea. No “too many sit-ups” feeling. No problem drinking. No aversions. I required no pain relief after. I got up and went to the bathroom and walked within 5 minutes of being wheeled into my room and then again every hour until I left. Of course I can tell my stomach is tiny when I’m drinking but the surgery was not what I was expecting.

I’m here at the hospital. Surgery and recovery have been a breeze so far. Almost no surgical pain except for hunger pain!

Anyone planning on bone broth for post op? Ive had a few options in my Amazon cart. 10g protein per packet. Of course i can make my own but i’d like some grab and go things too!

Exactly. I can’t shut up about it.

Wow. I mean i guess it could but isn’t 35 with cormorbidities the BMI insurance companies look for? My office is keen to get everyone losing weight to show the insurance company progress with their plan.

Im going minimal too. Undies, bra, pajamas, charger, phone, toothbrush, face soap. Planning on walking out with the same outfit I walked in with. LOL

Tall Skinny Vanilla Latte 90 calories -
Hi, I am absolutely doing stuff!! Probably too much! I am keeping my calories at 1400 a day, working out, I just finished a 12 week Bariatric Lifestyle Coach (BariTale Coaching) and just signed up with Bariatric Nutritionist for a 12 week “how to eat successfully after surgery” program (Bariatric food Prep). I bought some new pajamas for the hospital, some glass baby food jars and some tiny fancy espresso cutlery this week. 😂 I’ve lost over 30 lbs already (with help from Lomaira Rx) and was given the “easier” pre-op diet which seems super easy and manageable. Not a liquid diet. I got the time off finally in and approved today at work. Just going to rinse and repeat until surgery day!!!
